Wimbledon fashion - all the best celebrity outfits from the tournament, plus how to copy their style
The top celebrity outfits to copy from the most stylish tennis tournament of them all
The latest Wimbledon fashion is always as exciting as the tennis matches themselves. From Wimbledon whites to colourful brights, we've rounded up the best celebrity outfits from the last couple of years - and found plenty of matches so you can get the look too.
Wimbledon fashion is governed by far fewer rules than say race day attire, which means that when it comes to Wimbledon outfits, we can get a better feel for the attending celebrity's personal style. Kate Middleton and Zara Tindall are regulars from the Royal Family, whilst the likes of Sienna Miller and Katherine Jenkins are often spotted at SW19.
When it comes to deciding what to wear to Wimbledon, it's wise for attendees to remember the structure of the day and how much waiting and sitting there can be. In true British style, there can also be several weather seasons in one afternoon - meaning integrating layering pieces into your Wimbledon look will certainly be a smart idea. Women's trouser suits and options that will double as the best wedding guest dresses should be top of your shopping list.
Wimbledon fashion: our favourite celebrity Wimbledon outfits and how to recreate them
We've rounded up some of our favourite recently celebrity outfits from Wimbledon, and found you a mix of exact matches or chic replicas for some of the best looks of the summer.
1. Kate Middleton
When it comes to Wimbledon fashion, there are few spectators whose presence is as highly anticipated as the Princess of Wales. A big tennis fan, we're sure Kate is there for the thrill of the sport. We however have our eyes peeled for the latest Kate Middleton dresses, in the hope of adding them to our wardrobe. An expert at occasion dressing, she always hits the mark and looks effortless in the process. Here, Kate opted for a blue polka dot dress by Alessandra Rich.
Polka dots are always a big trend come the summer months. With Kate's dress now unsurprisingly sold out, we've found a great alternative - at a fraction of the price. By one of the British clothing brands you should have on your radar, this Finery frock features a chic wrap over v-neckline. Style it with this Aspinal of London handbag, which is a great match for Kate's mini Mulberry.
RRP: £34 (was £49) | Easy to dress up or down, style this pretty dress with white slingback heels to add some height, or throw on your best white trainers for an afternoon picnic. Like Kate, you're sure to make this frock your go-to.
2. Sienna Miller
If you've ever wondered what boho style is, Sienna Miller pretty much embodies this vibe, with the bohemian feel being somewhat of a signature look for the star. Looking stunning in Ralph Lauren, Sienna opted for a blue and white striped trouser suit in 2023.

3. Mel C
One of the brightest celebrity Wimbledon outfits of 2022, Mel C brought the sunshine to this in an incredible orange two-piece suit. Tailored shorts make a great alternative to long trousers in the summer and are ideal as part of any summer outfits for work. And if you're wondering what colour suits me, orange might just be the answer to your question!
A summer co-ord is ideal when looking for a smart look this season. Offering double the wear, jackets can be teamed separately over dresses or with jeans, while tailored shorts can be mixed with your best cotton t-shirts.
RRP: £23.09 and £22.99 | A bold co-ord makes occasion dressing a piece of cake. Available in UK sizes 16 to 32, this combo makes for a relaxed suit and we love the rainbow bright hue.
RRP: £148 | If you're looking for comfortable wedding guest shoes that you can happily wear for a full day at Wimbledon too, a low blocky heel is a great idea. In leg-lengthening nude, these will go with everything in your wardrobe.
4. Zara Tindall
Just like the rest of us, Zara Tindall is a big fan of ME+EM. In 2023, she wore this striped shirt dress by the brand, alongside a pair of towering wedges.
Zara's exact dress has now sold out but you can check out the ME+EM sale if you'e keen to buy into the brand.
5. Gugu Mbatha-Raw
Since wowing viewers with her performance in hit BBC drama The Girl Before, Gugu Mbatha-Raw has cemented herself as a celeb to watch when it comes to fashion. In 2023 she attended the tournament with fashion designer Erdem Moralıoglu, so it's a safe bet that's who she's wearing.
White outfits are a popular choice at Wimbledon, both on and off court. You really don't get that many excuses to wear white (since you can't get away with it at a wedding!), so embrace it while you can.
6. Oti Mabuse
Strictly Come Dancing superstar Oti Mabuse totally knocked our socks off when she chose an asymmetric purple dress with yellow heels to attend Wimbledon in 2023. The pleats moved beautifully as she walked through SW19, and she even added a suede trench coat in case the weather turned. The one we've found for you is a great option if you're wondering which Burberry trench coat to buy - but need some time to save up!

Katherine Jenkins always gets it right at Wimbledon, and this blue broderie anglaise dress in 2023 was no different. It's by Borgo de Nor, a label that does vibrant colour and prints incredibly well. We love the full skirt and chic sleeve length.

Never one to disappoint, Anna Wintour was one of several Wimbledon celebrity attendees who chose polka dots in 2023.

Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan stuck to Wimbledon whites in 2023, wearing Ralph Lauren. Her oversized gold hoop earrings offered the perfect accessory, and the spaghetti straps are a world away from her Penelope Featherington alter ego.
RRP: £41.40 | The perfect summer dress, the shape makes this a good choice if you're looking for stylish dresses to hide a tummy.
10. Trinny Woodall
Accessories were the star of the show in Trinny Woodall's 2022 look, with her glitzy sunnies, Celine hat and cream Prada bag adding to the cohesiveness of her style.
Her lace maxi dress is by Zimmermann, and though this exact style is currently out of stock, the brand carries several similar pieces that will hit the mark. Keeping it practical, Trinny opted for her favourite flatform trainers to finish off the look.
Clearly a seasoned Wimbledon goer, Trinny knows that the weather can be changeable and opted to drape a cream coat on top of her highly summery outfit. While the outerwear is quite wintery, the lighter hue gives it a warm-weather finish.
Completing her look, Trinny opted for a streamlined sunhat that wouldn't disrupt the views of her fellow attendees and ensured she could take on the midday sun with some on-trend rounded sunglasses.
