Continuing its phenomenal run of success, M&S celebrated 100 years of dressing the nation today, with a runway show at London Fashion Week. And what an impressive presentation it was - you'd never guess it was high street and not designer.

Models included Lara Stone, Jodie Kidd and Erin O'Connor, whilst glamorous guests such as Dame Joan Collins, Jessie Ware, David Gandy, Katherine Jenkins, Jamie Redknapp and Kelly Hoppen watched on from the front row.

The show is being streamed on the British clothing brand's website at 6pm tonight, but the 100 Years of Fashion collection is already available to buy, so if you're worried about missing out, don't wait to watch the show. The outerwear was my personal highlight up close - from Lara Stone's white coat with faux fur cuffs to Erin O'Connor, who immediately made me want a puffer coat. The party season-ready tailoring and dresses were beautifully made, and the good news is the prices aren't any higher than you'd normally expect from M&S. In fact, half of the collection is less than £50.

Maddy Evans, Director of M&S Women’s, said: “Bringing M&S to the London Fashion Week stage for the first time is a landmark moment in our fashion story, and we're excited for people everywhere to experience the show through the stream and shop the collection online immediately after it debuts on the runway.

"As we celebrate 100 years since M&S began selling clothing, our in-house design team immersed themselves in the archive, reimagining some of the pieces that have shaped our fashion legacy. From sharp tailoring inspired by heritage tuxedos and tweed suiting, to archival floral prints and reworked white shirts, every piece has been thoughtfully reinterpreted for today. While these archival references provide a rich thread of authenticity and design credibility throughout the collection, they sit alongside a broader fashion vision that is modern, relevant and effortlessly wearable. The result is a collection that honours our heritage while showcasing the style, quality and value that continue to define M&S today.”
