Amanda Wakeley is on a roll right now. A highly respected podcast, a much-loved YouTube show, and a recently launched book - Style DNA, it figures that her second, exclusive-to-John-Lewis collection is set to be a big success too.

The autumn drop, while it stands alone as a capsule, is easy to integrate into your current wardrobe rotation, with luxurious cashmere jumpers, silk shirts, and beautiful paisley prints that are ideal for the weeks and months ahead.

And of course, with Amanda, it's all in the exquisite detailing. Satin cuffs on an oversized knit, a slouchy sweater with a waist-cinching belt - that you can tie your way, and the most beautiful laser-cut fringed cape that I think about almost on the daily. Not overly focused on the autumn/winter fashion trends for 2026, the collection is directional, and yet you know that you'll still be wearing these items for years to come.

In a cohesive palette of navy, wisteria, cream and olive, everything in the collection could be dressed up or down, which fits right in with Amanda's own effortlessly glamorous style. Impeccably put together, seriously stylish and like she has truly nailed day-to-evening dressing in a way many of us can all only dream of, this collection at least gives us all a glimmer of a chance to be as elegant as Amanda.

A lover of fringing, the laser-cut pieces are my absolute favourite, but I also love Amanda's eye for detail. From the finishing on each piece to the breathable fabrications, this is a woman designing for women, and one who wants everyone to look and feel amazing in her pieces.

Designer to Royalty and A-list celebrities, Amanda's skill lies in making everyday dressing feel more purposeful, put together, but never uncomfortable. She isn't designing a fantasy; she's making clothes you'll want to return to day after day. But they aren't an island. The air shirts will work with your best jeans, as will the shirts and outerwear; the skirts can pair with existing wardrobe heroes, while the cami I can see becoming a real staple. This isn't a collection in isolation; it's here to beautify whatever you already have, and I love that.
