The days are getting longer and brighter and spring is most definitely blooming, so it's time to say goodbye to those winter beauty staples and switch up your regimen for the warmer days ahead.
If you resent spending all your hard earned cash on spenny skincare that literally breaks the bank, I’ve discovered a fantastic new brand from the States that’s made a visible difference to my skin without costing an absolute fortune. And make sure you stock up on one of the best face masks that everyone on the beauty team is raving about. It's well-priced and gives real results. Perfect to use before a party or a special event.
After getting my eyebrows microbladed, I’m loving a more low-maintenance makeup routine. But if, like me, you want a product that helps make the most of the wispy brow hairs you do have, I’ve found The One for my make-up bag. As well as a brilliant new lightweight foundation and blush too that give a fabulous spring-time glow without even trying…

If you are already a fan of the brand’s best-selling Double Serum then you will also love this clever product. Combining skincare with make-up, an adjustable dial allows you to customise your finish thanks to a dual chamber applicator, which mixes a hydrating serum with a luminous foundation. The result is a flawless skin finish that blurs imperfections without looking thick and cakey. A choice of 37 shades means there’s something for everyone, too.
You don’t want to scrimp on the amount of moisturiser you use on the daily because you’ve had to remortgage your house to buy it. Innbeauty Project is a new brand from the US that aims to deliver high-performance skincare that doesn't cost ridiculous sums. Extreme Cream has won countless awards in the States for its all-around greatness. It feels gorgeous on application and targets wrinkles, sagging, loss of firmness, and hydration thanks to a sophisticated bio-retinol/peptide/ceramide formula; in trials, 100% of users saw a difference in their skin.
As our skin changes with age, cream makeup formulas are often a better option than powder ones to give skin some youthful radiance. Cream blusher is a non-negotiable in my daily make-up as I love how it can transform skin in an instant. Ruby Hammer Cheek Colour has been around for a while, but the new shade Tawny is gorgeous and gives a natural, fresh colour. I apply it to the apples of my cheeks, blending upwards towards the cheekbones with my fingers for a gorgeous flush of colour.
Sheet masks are a great option if you want a quick and easy way to boost your skin for a night out, or just need a bit of TLC. But some can literally break the bank, that’s why I am loving L'Oréal Paris Glass Skin Hydrogel Glow Mask, which is great value at £4.99 for a single, or £15.99 for four. It’s easy to pop on and won’t slide off if you’re doing anything other than lying down. Glass skin is a bit of a TikTok trend for the youth, but this does give an amazing dewy glow. Like a huge slurp of water for your face, it contains hyaluronic acid, as well as glycerin and adenosine, all of which help smooth the skin and lock in hydration.
I’ve recently been reminded how fabulous Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Lip Protectant Stick is. Apparently, Jennifer Aniston is a fan too. She has one in every handbag, and I can see why! It's a great solution for dry, chapped lips, as well as offering protection if you’re in the sun, and it feels a bit more luxe than your average lip balm.
Since getting my brows microbladed (life-changing!) I’ve been trying lots of brow gels to make the wispy hairs I do have sit better on my fabulous new eyebrow shape. Refy Brow Tint comes in eight shades - I went for Soft Brown - and coats each hair with a subtle dose of colour and sets your brows in place for up to 12 hours. They will not move until your evening cleanse! The round applicator and sticky texture take a bit of getting used to, but it really helps everything to stay put. The formula is also enriched with peptides, which, over time, can help your brow hair grow thicker too.
