Kate Middleton stuns in statement gingham blouse in rare at-home video with Cambridge kids
Kate Middleton’s gingham blouse showed the future Queen is just as stylish at home as she is at public engagements!

Kate Middleton’s gingham blouse was showcased in her recent at-home baking video and it certainly seems to have caught fans’ attention.
- The Duchess of Cambridge baked cakes with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis for the local community in Cardiff and shared sweet snaps.
- Duchess Kate’s gingham blouse has been flying off the online shelves and it’s a wonderful choice for summer.
- This royal news comes as Prince Louis was 'warned' by Mike Tindall to behave at Platinum Pageant in a hilarious royal box moment.
Kate Middleton’s dresses have often inspired fans over the years and she brought out some seriously elegant looks for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. From Kate Middleton recycling her Alexander McQueen dress for Trooping the Color 2022 to Kate stunning in yellow for Her Majesty’s Service of Thanksgiving, we were treated to some lovely fashion moments from the future Queen Consort. But perhaps one of her most easy-to-wear looks came in a more low-key appearance over the weekend.
Taking to the Cambridges’ official Twitter account, Kate shared an adorable video of herself, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in the kitchen of one of their royal residences. And Kate Middleton’s gingham blouse certainly seems to have won fans’ hearts!

“Baking cakes for the local community in Cardiff to enjoy at a Platinum Jubilee street party taking place today!” the caption revealed on June 5th. “We hope you like them!”.
The video included a series of sweet snaps showing Duchess Kate, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis coming together to bake and decorate delicious-looking cakes in honor of the Queen’s major milestone. From Charlotte helping her big brother measure out ingredients, to Duchess Kate beaming at her kids as she held an icing bag, the joy on their faces was clear to see.
And whilst the moment was utterly heart-warming, Duchess Kate’s outfit also caught fans’ attention. For this baking day she opted for a pink gingham-patterned cotton blouse. This choice of top could be seen as a somewhat more casual choice for the Duchess who’s most often seen in more formal attire for engagements.
Making a statement, Kate Middleton’s gingham blouse featured an on-trend Chelsea collar and simple short sleeves and she paired it with pale-wash blue jeans. The blouse is understood to have been a Brora design, priced at £129.

The blouse was the perfect summery choice, helping Duchess Kate to remain stylish yet practical whilst putting her baking skills to the test. Sadly, as has happened so many times before, the exact blouse has flown off the online shelves and is currently available to pre-order.
RRP: $80 / £55 | With a statement ruffle, this cotton blouse makes for a comfortable yet stylish wardrobe staple for summer. Perfect to take you from day to night as you recreate Duchess Kate's look.
However, all is not lost if you want to recreate Kate Middleton’s gingham blouse look yourself. If nothing else will do but pink gingham then John Lewis & Partners are also selling this French Connection Artina Gingham Top in Begonia Pink with a similarly statement collar and longer sleeves ideal for cooler summer days.
Or if you’d rather have a twist on the original gingham blouse look, then Miss Selfridge' collared shirt in black and white gingham and La Redoute's pale yellow gingham blouse are other great options. Although statement, these more toned-down colors could make these even more wearable with items in your wardrobe.
However you might wish to make this look your own, Kate Middleton's gingham blouse is a show stopping summer piece!
