FAQs
Can I get free delivery at Argos?
Argos has one free delivery option: if you’re ordering a larger kitchen appliance, such as a dishwasher, on the standard tariff. Otherwise, the company offers a selection of delivery fees based on the size of the item you’re buying - from £3.95. However, while Argos’ delivery may not be free in many cases, it’s certainly quick. Among other options, the Fast Track Service promises customers buying online before 5pm delivery by 10pm the same day at a cost of £5.95. Argos also has a great deal with Tu clothing, the brand created by Tesco, where you can order before 2pm Monday to Friday and receive your items the following day for £3.95.
Does Argos have free click & collect?
Yep, Argos has a free click & collect service. Once you've placed your Argos click & collect order, you'll receive an email when it's arrived at your chosen store. Once you've received that email, you have 7 days to collect your items. If you're unable to collect within those 7 days, you can actually extend your collection time by another 7 days - just head to your Argos 'Your Account' page to do so.
Is there a new customer discount at Argos?
When you sign up for the Argos newsletter, you'll be rewarded with £5 off your first order over £40 - what's not to love? Joining the Argos mailing list is easy as well, just head over to the Argos website, scroll to the bottom of the homepage and click the 'Sign up here' button. You'll then be prompted to add your email address, and once you've signed up you'll be emailed your first order discount code.
When is the next Argos sale?
We can confidently say it's right now! There are always sales on the Argos website, from discounts on toys, home, garden, jewellery, electricals and much more. The Argos homepage always proudly displays which sales are currently running and the offers change a lot, from 20% off furniture to up to £70 off iPads, there's always something new to see.
Can I use Argos discount codes on sale items?
Usually, no. Argos discount codes tend to offer price cuts on full-price orders for specific product ranges. For example, 20% off garden furniture and 25% off Disney products. Make sure you read the discount codes T&Cs before heading to the checkout so you know beforehand what you can use it on.
Can you use Nectar points at Argos?
Argos is a partner with Nectar Card, so along with other companies like eBay, British Airways, and Sainsbury's, you can save at Argos with a membership to the Nectar Card scheme. Whether you buy in-store or online, Nectar Card holders collect 1 point for every £1 you spend. To get started and access some great promotions, offers, and exclusive deals, you just need to register with a Nectar Card and link your card to your Argos account.
Does Argos accept returns?
Yes, and the returns policy is nice and easy. You have 30 days to return your order from when it's been delivered or when you've gone to collect it. Make sure it's in it's original packaging, unused and with proof of purchase.
Does Argos price match?
No, Argos doesn't currently offer price matching on any products against competitors. Argos also don’t offer price matching on many of the products it sells with partners such as Tu Clothing as the sale is completely different from the independent site or any sales of clothing in a Sainsbury’s store.
Hints & tips
As well as Argos discount codes there are other ways to save at the retailer. Our handy tips below can tell you how...
Check out Argos sales: Shop for 50% off with the key sales at Argos. Simply go to the Argos website to see their discounts this year on their homepage. Argos usually has sales throughout the year. We've previously noted 70% off selected toy orders and 25% off home decor.
Head to the Argos clearance: The clearance runs throughout the year and it's the place to find the biggest savings on the Argos website. There are deals for all types of products, including technology, toys, home & garden, jewellery, health & beauty, baby & nursery, and much more. Pick up any clearance items you like when you see them because they're limited stock.
Get £5 off with Argos Marketing: What’s another email in your inbox? If you sign up for Argos Marketing - which involves allowing the brand to email you from time to time with deals, offers, and launches - you’ll be eligible to receive £5 off your next £40 purchase online. The code will land in your inbox shortly before your first email and you’ll be able to use it whenever you choose to save money. You can also unsubscribe to marketing emails at any time, via the link at the bottom of the email.
Shop the Simple Value Range: If you know what you want but don’t want to pay for the brand’s label on the product, try shopping the Argos’ range called Simple Value. It does exactly what it suggests; it offers simple products at a lower price. While the collection isn’t huge, to begin with, and it ranges in size throughout the year, if you’re in the market for larger appliances like a fridge or freezer, more unique items like seat covers for a car or other driving accessories that the store doesn’t really specialize in, you may just find a reasonable price here.

What to buy from Argos
As a catalogue retailer and now online supplier, some of the best deals to be had from Argos come from the furniture and outdoor selection. If you’re looking to get your outdoor (or indoor) space sorted for the warmer months this year, this is undoubtedly one of the best places to go.
Argos offers some of the best outdoor furniture at affordable prices with excellent delivery and collection options as homeware store Habitat is now also part of the same group, with both brands owned by Sainsbury’s. For example, you can buy a Habitat 2 Seater set made from stylish rattan for just £140, ideal for a small patio or outdoor space in the summer months. While larger sets, including an impressive 4-seater bamboo effect garden sofa set, are available for under £500.
If you’ve ever wanted to convert your garden into a gym space, now’s the time. While we saw most items sold out a year ago thanks to the surge in lockdown gyms, Argos have restocked and you can now buy everything you’ll need to create your ideal workout space for a good price - from the best dumbbells and resistance bands to larger items like women’s bikes and machinery. There are also often sales on the larger items, such as Reebok treadmills for those looking to take up walking as a workout at home, and smaller accessories, so, be sure to keep an eye out for these too when using your Argos promo codes.
The versatility of the brand and the huge range of products make the Argos shopping experience totally unique though, as whatever way you’re looking to redecorate and renovate or develop healthier habits, there’s something for you.
How do we source voucher codes and deals?
We have an expert deals team who dedicate their working hours to finding discount codes, sales, and other great offers to help you save money. They work with affiliate networks and search the web high and low for the best deals around. Once they’ve tested the codes, they add the offers to the brand page for you to redeem.
We also have a partnership team that builds relationships with our brands, negotiating exclusive discount codes (which will be the best offer currently on the market), that you won’t be able to find anywhere else. Once they secure an exclusive code, the deals team then add them to the brand page.
Finally, our editorial team provide additional information on each brand, the FAQs provide much-needed answers to your questions and our Hints & Tips give you advice on alternative ways to save money when there isn’t a discount code available.
What if my promo code doesn’t work?
We manually test our codes regularly and include all terms and conditions to help prevent listing codes that don’t work. However, although our promo codes are tested regularly, sometimes a code will expire or the offer details will change without our knowledge. If this happens, feel free to contact us and let us know by emailing vouchers.womanandhome@futurenet.com.
How do we make money?
Our business model works by commission, so when you click one of our offers and then make a purchase on the brand’s website, we get a small percentage of the money that you’ve spent as our offers have helped connect you with the brand.
The way we do this is by dropping a cookie! When you click one of our links, a unique identifier is added that lets the brand know that you’ve come from Woman & Home vouchers, and that’s how we manage to keep these vouchers free to use!
