FAQs
Does Appliances Direct do free delivery?
Lots of items on the website do have free delivery, but these tend to be smaller products which don’t necessarily need to be installed by the courier. How much you will pay for delivery depends on the item being purchased. When you checkout with a larger item such as a fridge freezer, you can see different options in your basket for delivery, such as ‘room of choice delivery’, which is at a higher price but will ensure that your new appliance is safely installed in the place you would like it to live.
Can I change my Appliances Direct delivery date?
When you order your new appliance, you’ll be able to choose which day you want it to be delivered (Monday-Saturday), with next-day delivery available on lots of products. Your courier will give you a specific time slot on the day of delivery so that you can plan to be in - but if something should change, you can log into your online account or call the customer services team and easily change your delivery date.
What is Appliances Direct returns policy?
Don’t worry if you’re not happy with your new Appliances Direct product - contact the customer services team within 14 days of the day your item was delivered, and they’ll get back to you within 48 hours to confirm and authorise the return. You will need to pay for the cost of returning the item to Appliances Direct with a courier.
Is there an Appliances Direct Manufacturer’s Warranty?
All appliances from Appliances Direct come with a warranty, but you’ll need to register your new appliance with its manufacturer straight away to activate its warranty. All new (not refurbished) items purchased through Appliances Direct will come with at least a 12-month warranty.
Can Appliances Direct take away my old appliance?
In short, yes, but you will need to pay a little extra for this service when you checkout. The service is like-for-like, so the couriers will only remove an appliance which is the same type as the one you are having delivered. Before collection, all appliances must be uninstalled and disconnected from any wiring - dishwashers and washing machines cannot be removed if there is still water in the pipes, and old refrigerators or freezers will only be removed if they have been fully defrosted and there is no excess water in them.
How do I contact Appliances Direct?
The quickest way to contact the Appliances Direct customer service team is through the live chat service on the website. To start a conversation, click the 'Chat Now' button on the right-hand side of the screen. You can also call the team at 0871 984 4416 - it's worth noting that this does have a charge of 13p per minute as well as your network access charge. To find answers to common FAQs it's worth heading to the 'Contact Us' page and looking through the list of common queries and seeing if you can find your answer there.
What payment methods does Appliances Direct accept?
Once you've got to the checkout page and added your Appliances Direct discount code, you can pay for your goods with Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, PayPal, PayPal Credit and Amazon Pay.
Does Appliances Direct do NHS discount?
Appliances Direct doesn't currently do an NHS discount or Blue Light Card discount, but don't worry, there are plenty of ways to save at the retailer. For example, there are loads of big price-drop sales and a refurbished section which can save you hundreds on your new appliances.
Does Appliances Direct do student discount?
There isn't an Appliances Direct student discount code at the moment but getting your new electricals and appliances from the retailer can be nice and cheap anyway. As well as regular Appliances Direct promo codes, there are loads of other ways to save. For all the info you need on saving, check our Hints & Tips section below.
Hints and tips
As well as using one of our Appliances Direct voucher codes for money off your order, there are other ways to save money on the website. Those in the know can also...
Check out the latest sales: You'll always find discounts and sales on the Appliances Direct website, so as well as sales, you'll find specific promotions such as free gifts with purchases, free delivery on certain items, extended trial periods, cashback offers and more.
Enjoy exclusive email offers: Scroll to the bottom of the Appliances Direct homepage and you’ll see a space to enter your email address and sign up for the Appliances Direct newsletter - by signing up, you’ll receive news of the latest deals and offers before others.
Consider a refurbished item: Appliances Direct offers refurbished versions of certain items, which are often significantly cheaper than buying full price. Refurbished items have been rigorously tested and are promised to be in good working condition, but the retailer does generally have a lower warranty period than a brand-new item. If you don’t mind a refurbished device, it could be a great way to make a huge saving.
Find products with free delivery: Not all of the items from Appliances Direct will offer free delivery, but many of them do - including large TVs, air fryers, some fridge freezers, and more. If you can’t choose between two similar items of around the same price on the site, check if one has free delivery available, as you’ll be able to make a bigger saving.

How do we source voucher codes and deals?
We have an expert deals team who dedicate their working hours to finding discount codes, sales, and other great offers to help you save money. They work with affiliate networks and search the web high and low for the best deals around. Once they’ve tested the codes, they add the offers to the brand page for you to redeem.
We also have a partnership team that builds relationships with our brands, negotiating exclusive discount codes (which will be the best offer currently on the market), that you won’t be able to find anywhere else. Once they secure an exclusive code, the deals team then add them to the brand page.
Finally, our editorial team provide additional information on each brand, the FAQs provide much-needed answers to your questions and our Hints & Tips give you advice on alternative ways to save money when there isn’t a discount code available.
What if my promo code doesn’t work?
We manually test our codes regularly and include all terms and conditions to help prevent listing codes that don’t work. However, although our promo codes are tested regularly, sometimes a code will expire or the offer details will change without our knowledge. If this happens, feel free to contact us and let us know by emailing vouchers.womanandhome@futurenet.com.
How do we make money?
Our business model works by commission, so when you click one of our offers and then make a purchase on the brand’s website, we get a small percentage of the money that you’ve spent as our offers have helped connect you with the brand.
The way we do this is by dropping a cookie! When you click one of our links, a unique identifier is added that lets the brand know that you’ve come from Woman & Home vouchers, and that’s how we manage to keep these vouchers free to use!
