NARS Cosmetics The Multiple:

NARS Cosmetics The Multiple: £30 £21.59 (save £8.41) | Lookfantastic

NARS makes the best cheek products (with the naughtiest names) in the 'biz. While Orgasm powder gets more airtime, I prefer this cream blush for easy blending, a dewy finish, and unusually good staying power for a cream formula.

Kérastase Blond Absolu Shine and Hydrating Duo   £51.50

Kérastase Blond Absolu Shine and Hydrating Duo  £51.50 £30.10 (save £21.40) | Lookfantastic
Why is every shampoo aimed at blondes loaded with violet pigment? Purple shampoo should be a once-a-week thing. In between, I use this nourishing, softening, and shine-enhancing set. It meets every fair-haired need in luxurious style without accidentally blue-rinsing my 'do.

Maison Margiela Replica Jazz Club Eau de Toilette £99 £75.77 (save £23.23) | Lookfantastic

Just one of the sexiest scents around. Maison Margiela Replica is a whole perfume collection based around evoking specific places and times. This one, inspired by a Brooklyn Jazz club, is packed with rum, tobacco, pepper, and vetiver. All the good things.

Tan-Luxe Super Glow Serum:

Tan-Luxe Super Glow Serum: £54 £24.29 (save £29.71) | Lookfantastic

These self-tanning drops were created by a Scot (the very talented Marc Elrick) and are now worn by another one almost every weekend (me). They're customizable, non-drying, and supremely flattering—because if you can make a tan convincing on a Celt, you can do it on anyone.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm

Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm £44 £25.73 (save £18.27) | Lookfantastic

You've probably tried this before, and if you haven't there's no time like the present. Luxurious, nourishing, spa-smelling, deep-cleansing goodness. A little goes a long way which is good as you'll never want it to run out.

BaByliss Titanium Brilliance Waves £40

BaByliss Titanium Brilliance Waves £40 £26.99 (save: £13.01) | Lookfantastic

Everyone needs a good hair wand in their life, and I find cost often bears no relation to greatness. This tool is a bargain anyway, but especially so right now. Love how light it is, love the perfectly sized barrel for beachy waves (not ringlets) and the smooth, non-snaggy titanium coating.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara £9.99

Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara £9.99 £7.45 (save: £2.54) | Lookfantastic

Buy two of these, or perhaps make that ten—at this price, who's counting? Everyone who tries this mascara loves it, myself included, for its fluttery, non-clumping, ultra-long lash effect. It's easy to remove yet somehow not smudgy—a very unusual combo.

w&h Beauty Ed's top Lookfantastic Black Friday deals in the US

Aromatherapy Associates Discovery Wellbeing Bath and Shower Oil Collection

Aromatherapy Associates Discovery Wellbeing Bath and Shower Oil Collection  $60 $45 (save $15) | Lookfantastic US
This contains ten miniatures of the luxury aromatherapy oils, all smelling completely incredible and offering 'inner strength' or a chance to 'revive' as you wish. It would make a fabulous gift if you can bear to give it away, if not keep it for yourself and enjoy it, which is what I would do.

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex Serum   $75

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex Serum  $75 $56.30 (save: $18.70) | Lookfantastic US
This is the skincare serum you'll find on every Beauty Ed's dressing table so that when we test another skincare product that doesn't pass muster, we can fall back into the arms of this reliably excellent hydration, tone, and texture improving elixir. You can't go wrong with ANR.

Dr Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel (Pack of 30)   $88

Dr Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel (Pack of 30)  $88 $61.60 (save: $26.40) | Lookfantastic US

Fun, zingy, and ultra-effective this two-step peel system should be handed out as readily as greetings cards over the festive season. Nothing can prep your complexion before a party (or rescue it after one) quite like this.

Lipstick Queen Sinner Lipstick  $24

Lipstick Queen Sinner Lipstick $24 $9.60 (save: $14.40) | Lookfantastic US

The clue is in the name. This slightly under-the-radar brand makes some of the loveliest lipsticks in the best shades on the market. Lipstick Queen particularly excels at reds, and this deep berry tone would be beyond fabulous for a party.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Sheer Long-Wear Foundation

Estée Lauder Double Wear Sheer Long-Wear Foundation  $43 $32.30 (save $10.70) | Lookfantastic US

More Estee Lauder, I know! No apologies, these guys make excellent makeup and when you see it on a deal you should snap it up. This is a lighter version of their deservedly lauded but a little too heavy for some Doublewear Foundation. It has a weightless finish but lasts the distance on an oily T-zone, which is rare.

T3 SinglePass X 1.5” Styling Iron:

T3 SinglePass X 1.5” Styling Iron: $235 $176.30 (save: $58.70) | Lookfantastic US

I wish I had the sort of thick, luscious curly hair that would necessitate the purchase of this very good hair straightener. If you are blessed with a trickier-to-smooth mane, then this wide, smooth, powerful-yet-kind flat iron will be a blessing to you.

Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Food Banana 3-in-1 Dry Hair Mask Treatment:

Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Food Banana 3-in-1 Dry Hair Mask Treatment: $9.70 $4.80 (save: $4.90) | Lookfantastic US

This was already a bargain before Lookfantastic knocked another half off, even more so now.  I love this deeply nourishing mask because it works, because you can liberally douse your hair in without worrying about wasting overpriced hair goop and because it smells like banana, which always makes me smile for reasons I can't explain.

Fiona McKim

As woman&home's Beauty Channel Editor, Fiona Mckim has tried more beauty products than she’s had hot dinners and nothing makes her happier than raving about a brilliant find on womanandhome.com or her instagram grid (@fionamckim if you like hair experiments and cute shih-tzus)

Fiona joined woman&home as Assistant Beauty Editor in 2013, working under industry legend Jo GB, who taught her everything she needed to know (clue: learn about ingredients and employ extreme cynicism).

In a previous life, Fiona studied journalism back home in bonnie Scotland and honed her skills as a features writer at publications including Junior and Prima Baby, with a brief and terrifying stint on the showbiz pages of a tabloid newspaper in between. She's a skincare fanatic who can’t resist adding an extra step to her routine, adores fragrance, has fun with makeup and never turns down the chance to test a new hair tool. Basically, she loves it all.

When not slathering herself in self tan or peering at a tiny ingredients list on a moisturiser, you’ll probably find Fiona enjoying something to do with food - cooking it, eating it, cajoling her friends into trekking across London to try a hyped pop-up in a dirty car park.

Come to think of it, the hot dinners and beauty products are probably about even.
