What UGG Products were in the sale last year?
Last year, retailers such as Amazon, Gilt, and Brand Alley offered some of the best UGG Black Friday deals with discounts ranging from 60% to 70% off. UGG themselves also offered some brilliant deals with over 60% off select items.
The biggest deals were seen across footwear, as you may have expected, and, while not confirmed, we think it's probably fair to anticipate similar happening for 2023. There were great savings on the classic UGG slippers for example—the UGG Fluff Yeah slippers were reduced by $55. In the UK, the viral UGG Tasman Puffer slippers also had a whopping £45 off. There were also great deals to be had across clothing and accessories.
Are the UGG Cyber Monday deals the same as Black Friday?
While sometimes the UGG Cyber Monday sales are better than the UGG Black Friday sales, often the UGG Cyber Monday sales remain pretty consistent with the deals we see over the weekend. While some retailers have extended the offering to more UGG products, no one has really increased the depth of their sales offering in previous years, so if you've been holding out, we recommend shopping now.
In previous years, retailers such as Selfridges have been known to hold back from Black Friday and only offer deals on Cyber Monday, launching surprise flash discounts for one day only. However, we're yet to see any reductions launched on their site and don't expect to see any soon.
Are UGGs waterproof?
If you are planning on purchasing the brand's 'Classic' boots, which are the soft, slipper-like outdoor boots you'd typically associate with UGG, these are not waterproof unfortunately. While you can apply a suede waterproof repellent to them, we'd suggest that it's best not to head out in the rain with them on!
However, UGG actually does a full range of waterproof boots, which are ideal if you're planning on lots of outdoor walks this cold season. As with their Classic boots, these come in ankle size and tall size, depending on your personal preference.
Many of these waterproof boots have been designed to be worn in colder conditions, with cushioning insole and water-repellent coatings, and our fashion team actually rated UGG as one of the best winter boots for 2022.
