Cat Deeley’s radiant NTA makeup formula is so easy to replicate - and her makeup artist has spilled the details

If there’s one beauty look from the National Television Awards that had the woman&home HQ talking, it was Cat Deeley’s. The This Morning presenter stepped onto the red carpet in a vibrant purple Giambattista Valli maxi dress, paired with tousled blonde waves and the prettiest makeup.
It’s that transitional time of year when our inboxes are suddenly flooded with autumnal beauty launches and new-season messaging. And while I’m more than ready to embrace an extra layer after a long, hot summer, Cat’s makeup is a timely reminder that we don’t need to retire our rosy blushers and coral lipsticks just yet.
Her go-to makeup artist Lindsay Bown described the look as “glowy skin, lots of lash and a pop of colour with a juicy coral red lip” – and that pretty much sums up its appeal. Fresh, radiant and softly sun-kissed, it’s a makeup look that keeps one foot firmly in summer without feeling out of place in September.
How to recreate Cat Deeley’s NTA makeup look
Glowing from head to toe, Cat may well have followed the trusted tanning routine she’s previously shared with woman&home: dry body brushing, moisturiser applied where needed, followed by St Moriz Express Tanning Mousse buffed into the skin with a brush. The result? A golden, just-back-from-holiday glow that extended all the way to her complexion.
While Bown hasn’t revealed every product she used on the night, she did tag Rare Beauty, Lisa Eldridge, Westman Atelier and Dark Swan of Denmark in her post, giving us a few clues.
We can be fairly confident about the false eyelashes - Bown has used Dark Swan of Denmark’s Secret Natural Lashes on Cat several times before, and her full, fluttery lash line at the NTAs appears to have been created with delicate clusters rather than one heavy strip.
As for her base, Bown has previously shared a post of her “skin prep and base favourites”, which included Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer, Lisa Eldridge Skin Enhancing Tint and Lisa Eldridge Elevated Glow Highlighter. We can’t confirm whether they made it into her kit for the NTAs, but the finish was light-handed – think fresh, luminous skin with just enough coverage to perfect rather than conceal.
A pop of rosy blush brings the whole complexion to life and gives Cat that healthy, end-of-summer flush. While we can’t be certain which blusher Bown reached for, its luminous finish suggests a cream blush or balm formula – Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks Cream Blush Stick would create a similarly fresh effect.
The finishing touch is that juicy coral-red lip. Glossy rather than matte and bright without overpowering the rest of the makeup, it works beautifully against the red of Cat’s dress and brings the whole look together. While Bown hasn’t shared the exact shade, we’ve found a close match for recreating the look at home.
