While we love our most comfortable sandals, we're looking forward to switching to autumn footwear in a few weeks. One of the most snuggly styles to step out in has to be a pair of UGG suede boots, but we've tracked down a cheaper, A-list-approved alternative that you can actually find on Amazon.

Last August, we clocked Natalie Portman wearing a pair of Bearpaw Tabitha Loafers on the set of Good Sex, and they were the perfect designer dupe for the coveted UGG Tasman slip-on style. We loved them right away, and her comfy flats are at the top of our shopping list now that we're starting to think about autumn outfit ideas.

The star’s suede pair will save you money while still looking chic, and they're just as cosy to wear as the best UGG or EMU boots in chilly weather. The actress used her slip-on shearling pair to finish a simple T-shirt and jogger outfit, and it looked like the ultimate relaxed ensemble to emulate for low-key plans over the coming weeks.

When it comes to how to style UGGs, a slip-on design like the Tasman or other similar flats can be brilliantly versatile, and the below-ankle height means they can sit well with everything from your barrel-leg jeans to a relaxed T-shirt dress.

Opting for a pair with rubber soles means you will get plenty of wardrobe mileage out of them too, as you can wear them both indoors and out. Worried about wet and rainy weather ruining your suede shoes? Opt for styles complete with a waterproof coating or pairs that can easily be washed and dried, and if you're unsure, read our guide on how to clean UGG boots.

Natalie may have worn her Bearpaw flats last year, but they still feel very relevant for right now, and her cosy pair will feel like a treat for your feet right through until next spring.
