The Murad Clarifying Oil-Free Water Gel is my summer beauty staple.

I hate the feeling of heavy-duty products on my skin. I can just about manage an oil-free sunscreen in the summer months, let alone a full-whack greasy moisturiser. So when I tried Murad's Clarifying Oil-Free Water Gel last year, it was love at first application.

I'll admit: £38 is a little steep for a moisturizer. (Even one as dreamy as this.) So when I saw that Amazon is offering it at nearly 20% off in today's Prime Day deals, I set about stockpiling as many as my bank balance would allow.

Here's everything you need to know about this brilliant beauty deal so you can get your hands on it, too.

Murad Clarifying Water Gel Hydrating Face Moisturiser with Non-Greasy Finish £38.00 £31.15 (save £6.85) | Amazon.co.uk

A moisturizer for people who hate the feeling of moisturizer, this hydrating, purifying and refining formula helps skin maintain a balanced microbiome, so you'll see less oiliness and breakouts, while still getting your skin the all-important moisture it needs. It's light as water, goes under makeup like a dream, and is free from parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and gluten. Suitable for even the most sensitive of complexions, if you're in any way inclined towards oiliness/breakouts, this is well worth an investment. Oh, and did I mention it's nearly 20% off in today's Prime Day deals? Yep, stockpile it while you can, because this dreamy beauty deal won't last.

This high-performing moisturizer is packed with skin-loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid for long-lasting deep hydration, Korean red pine extract to interrupt bacteria signals, and ginger root extract to comfort and soothe.

There's the assumption that the heavier the cream, the harder it's working, but for such a lightweight formula, Murad's gel moisturizer really packs a punch.

Don't just take my word for it, though. It's got plenty of other fans.

"I am 60, a redhead with temperamental/sensitive skin, and have read that people can get worse rosacea after menopause. I have had so much trouble with my skin, and this moisturizer is a face-saver! This product has just enough salicylic acid in it to keep my skin clear and not so much as to cause dryness or peeling. It has not caused breakouts and seems to moisturize very well," wrote one customer.

While another said, "No oil, very light. Should be used daily."

*Adds thirty to the basket.*

Seriously, though, this is a beauty bargain not to be missed – so snap it up here before it goes.
