You only have to look at Catherine-Zeta Jones to know this is a woman who knows a thing or two about beauty. The A-list actress never appears anything less than 100% glamorous, and this includes when she is make-up free.

Catherine shared a picture on her Instagram page over the weekend and fans couldn't help but compliment her natural beauty.

The post was captioned: "Sleeping in @casazetajones! #SelfieSaturday #CasaZetaJones".

Fans flooded the post with praise for the star. One wrote: "So naturally beautiful. Good Morning". Another commented: "So refreshing, an actor that is happy to show herself in her true purity."

But Catherine doesn't always go make-up free. She previously shared a snap inside her beauty cabinet. How considerate! We jumped at the chance to look, learn and get a sip of what she's sipping...

Captioned, "My face and body essentials. And no, I don't use them all at the same time." The candid photo appeared on the actress's Instagram page, and the comments section promptly went wild, trying to pinpoint which lotions and potion give you that Zeta-Jones glow. If there's one thing I took away from this photo, it's that this woman has excellent taste, with several W&H favourites and niche cult classic products making an appearance (well, that and wereally need to organise our bathroom cabinets!)

Read on to find out my top picks from CZ-J's collection, and what they can do for you...

Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte's Magic Cream, £70

Based on the miracle potion she used to whip up backstage at shoots, this cream is legendary and with good reason. It's thick and luscious, juices up dry skin a treat, glows a little and primes, pumping up lines and smoothing texture. Plus, as you'd expect from a genius makeup artist like Charlotte, it sits perfectly under makeup.

Sunday Riley Luna, £85

I've gone on about this plenty in the past, and will continue to do so because it's really that good. Luna is a night oil with mysteriously 'dry' texture (so it won't smear all over your pillow or oil up your hair if you're not washing it in the morning) this works by soothing inflammation, a real culprit in all manner of ageing, and lots of lovely cold-pressed oils to hydrate perfectly. It doesn't smell great, but once you've used it for a couple of weeks and your skin is calm, clear and glowy, you really won't care.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, £40

An absolute classic, this smells like a spa, feels abolutely glorious to use and removes every last speck of makeup without drying our your skin. It's not cheap for a cleanser but you only need a little finger's worth every time so it lasts forever. Melt into your hands with warm water, lather up and remove with a muslin cloth for clean, soft, happy skin. Seriously addictive.

Skyn Iceland The Antidote Cooling Daily Lotion, £32.50

There's definitely a bit of a theme in the beauty cabinet of Mrs Z-J and that's soothing, cooling products for sensitive complexions. Skyn Iceland are a brand that make excellent products in this vein, packed with lovely non-irritating ingredients at very fair prices. This serum is lovely, silky and hydrating and of course as you'd guess, very cooling, perfect if you tend to get flushed. It also works on oily blackhead-prone bits, so packs a lot of power into its little pump bottle.
