Food for the Ribbon Walk day that is.
Our Homes Editor Emma Morton Turner who’s walked and run marathons has her favourite snacks:
“I take jelly beans for a sugar rush when energy flags. Sandwiches for lunch because I like to eat and walk. Plus biscuits for the odd snack. Oh and lots of water – that’s the most important thing.”
Jelly Belly are her favourite beans but look for their Sport Beans - £1.25 a pack formulated with good carbs, electrolytes plus vitamins B and C. They’re portable power.
