Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla shared a statement in celebration of Chinese New Year 2022.
It reads, "My wife and I would like to wish a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year to all those in China – and everyone celebrating the new Lunar Year across the world."
The Clarence House message continues, "As we enter the Year of The Tiger, known for courageous action and rising to challenge and adventure, I hope the whole world will make this a year of action."
The Prince, a keen environmentalist added, "Together let’s create a better future for all our children by shifting the way we live and work to be in harmony with Nature and the planet."
However, the final lines of the message are the ones that some say stand out the most, in light of the current state of affairs within the Royal Family. "The blessing of the tiger brings happiness to all families in the year of the tiger."
This message is only shortly after it was revealed that Prince Charles fears Prince Harry’s memoir will cause ‘reputational damage’ to Camilla.
Despite these fears, ahead of the memoir's release, it has also been claimed that Prince Harry video calls Prince Charles in hope of being ‘closer to his family’ ahead of Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
