Holly Willoughby follows Kate Middleton's lead in stunning LK Bennett polka dot dress

Holly Willoughby and Kate Middleton are both known for their fabulous sense of style and their effortlessly chic wardrobe. 

But now it looks like Holly is taking style points from Kate as she chose to wear a polka dot dress from LK Bennett—a brand the Duchess has also worn previously.

Before appearing on This Morning, presenter Holly Willoughby took to Instagram to share her OOT, outfit of the day, with her loyal fans who know Holly Willoughby as a national style icon. 

The caption of the post read, "Morning Wednesday… today on This Morning we have two of our acting greats… Jodie Comer and Stephen Graham talking about their much anticipated drama ‘Help’… see you at 10am…💁🏼‍♀️✨ Dress by LK Bennett London ✨"

Although fans were excited to see the content of the show, many were transfixed by her gorgeous vintage style dress that had fans calling her, "beautiful" and, "elegant."

The dark red dress is available from LK Bennett for £359 ($498). The dress is also very similar to a navy polka dot dress that the Duchess of Cambridge has been spotted in on numerous royal occasions.

Like Holly, Kate Middleton's dresses are often highly coveted by fans and the Duchess is considered something of a national fashion icon in the UK and US.

Crafted from beautiful red and cream silk, the dress has a pointed collar, long sleeves, pleat detail to the bust and a nipped waist.

Duchess Kate has been photographed in a very similar polka dot dress. The navy dress featured a similar pointed large white collar that contrasted with the colorful patterned dress.

This dress usually retails in the thousands so is quite a bit more expensive than Holly's high street find. However, the two dresses both have a classic vintage style that suits them equally.

Although Kate's dress is no longer in stock, LK Bennet sells a similar navy version of the dress.

Meaning you can have a navy dress that looks just like Holly's and Kate's for a fraction of the retail price you'd pay for a designer label.
