Fenty Hair: it looks like Rihanna is launching her own haircare brand next
Rihanna looks set to complete the beauty brand trifecta with Fenty Hair
It looks like Rihanna's next career move is launching her own haircare brand. According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, her company Roraj Trade LLC has just filed a trademark application for "Fenty Hair".
The singer was absent from this year's Grammys as only nominees, presenters and performers were allowed to attend because of Covid restrictions – and she hasn't released an album since 2016.
While fans have no word on when Rihanna might record her next album, news of another beauty brand from the singer-turned-entrepreneur is a very exciting compromise.
The application, which was filed on March 3rd, covers various hair products including, "Hair styling preparations; Hair straightening preparations; Hair relaxing preparations; Hair waving preparations; Non-medicated hair restoration lotions" and more.

Following the success of her other brands Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin, it makes total sense that Rihanna would want to complete the beauty trifecta and have one brand for skincare, make-up and haircare.
When is Fenty Hair launching?
As things stand we don't know much else about the potential Fenty Hair brand, besides its name – and it's worth noting that the application could be a placeholder for a brand that'll be a few years in the works yet.

Allure reports that it contacted the PR firm representing Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin, but was told "it does not have any information about a potential Fenty Hair brand to share at this time". That said, we like to be optimistic, and so hope that we could hear more about Fenty Hair within the next year.
