Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the US last week, flying back to California almost immediately after the Queen's state funeral had ended.
The couple was coincidentally in England when news of the 96-year-old's death broke, having traveled to Europe for a whirlwind tour of charity engagements in the UK and Germany.
They extended their stay in the country for the Royal Family's period of mourning, joining Prince William and Kate Middleton at Windsor Castle for a royal walkabout just two days after the Queen's passing.
Harry and Meghan also attended a vigil for the Queen on Saturday, September 17, as well as her funeral at Westminster Abbey on Monday, September 19. It is understood that the Sussexes were unable to reconcile their differences with King Charles III during the visit, however, having failed to reach any lasting resolutions whilst back on British soil.
