King Charles has delighted royal fans with a new photograph showing himself and Camilla, Queen Consort, posing alongside the new Prince and Princess of Wales at Buckingham Palace.

The striking new photograph, issued by Buckingham Palace, shows Camilla, Queen Consort and King Charles III standing alongside Prince William, Prince of Wales, and Catherine, Princess of Wales, as the foursome pose for a photograph ahead of their Majesties the King and the Queen Consort’s reception for Heads of State and Official Overseas Guests. The photograph was taken on 18 September at Buckingham Palace, ahead of the Queen's funeral.
Due to the photograph being taken during the official mourning period for Queen Elizabeth II, the two couples are dressed in black. And while the set up is formal, the body language of the group is warm and relaxed; Charles can be seen posing with his hand in his pocket, linking arms with wife Camilla. While Princess Catherine has an arm supportively behind her husband William.
The image was also shared on the Royal Family's official Instagram page, @theroyalfamily, with the caption, "Their Majesties The King and The Queen Consort with Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales. Taken at Buckingham Palace on 18th September by @chrisjacksongetty."
Fans were quick to comment on the photograph, which has already received over 900,000 likes in 24 hours and thousands of positive comments.

Fans were particularly enamoured with Princess Catherine's elegant look. "Our Princess of Wales is just beautiful 😍."

While the photograph pictured four of the key working members of the Royal Family, other senior royals were present at the event, including Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex.
