Princess Anne’s final act of devotion for Queen Elizabeth II revealed
The Queen's daughter was with the monarch in her final moments

Princess Anne was with her mother, Queen Elizabeth, during her final moments at Balmoral and undertook one final act of love, it's been revealed.
- Princess Anne, along with King Charles III, was with Queen Elizabeth when she died peacefully at Balmoral on September 8.
- The Princess Royal, the Queen's only daughter, made one final act of love when her beloved mum passed away.
- This follows royal news that King Charles III has made a major change to the Royal Family Instagram account.
When paying tribute to her mother the Queen earlier this month, Princess Anne revealed she was with the monarch in her last moments.
She said, "I was fortunate to share the last 24 hours of my dearest mother’s life. It has been an honour and a privilege to accompany her on her final journeys. Witnessing the love and respect shown by so many on these journeys has been both humbling and uplifting."
And now that Queen Elizabeth's death certificate has been released, it's been revealed that Princess Anne also made another final act of love for her mother.
The document revealed that it is Anne who is named as the informant on the document and would have notified the local registrar of her mother’s death.

King Charles III and the Queen Consort, Camilla, were also with the Queen when she died. Other royals including the Prince of Wales, Prince Edward and Prince Harry, didn't make it to Balmoral until after the Queen had passed away.
King Charles paid tribute to his 'Mama' during his first speech as King. He said, "I speak to you today with feelings of profound sorrow," before hailing his "beloved mother" as an "inspiration and example to me and to all my family."

He added, "We owe her the most heartfelt debt any family can owe to their mother; for her love, affection, guidance, understanding, and example. Queen Elizabeth was a life well lived; a promise with destiny kept and she is mourned most deeply in her passing. That promise of lifelong service I renew to you all today.
"The affection, admiration, and respect she inspired became the hallmark of her reign," he continued, before adding that she combined these qualities with "warmth, humor, and an unerring ability always to see the best in people."
