Halsey is pregnant, and the Internet is already celebrating.
Halsey, whose real name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, revealed the news on her Instagram today with some artistic photos that were simply captioned, "Surprise!"
Halsey's pregnancy announcement to her 22.8 million followers was received with a mixture of shock and excitement from both fans and friends. Its most notable reaction came from boyfriend Alev Aydin, who was also tagged in the post.
Aydin, who is the writer of Netflix's Small Shots, hasn't popped up much on Halsey's social media. However, he didn't hold back on his feelings about the news, commenting, "Heart so full, I love you, sweetness."
The couple has reportedly been dating for several months and even got matching tattoos back in June.

Halsey has been flooded with congratulatory messages following the announcement. Several celebrities were quick to send their well-wishes, including Cassie, January Jones, and Julia Kelly.
Her Twitter has also seen an outpouring of support, with fans basking in the second-hand delight of the pop star’s news.
I’m gonna cry! she rly went from having multiple miscarriages, including one while performing on tour, writing a heartbreaking song about her struggles and how badly she wants to be a mom on her incredible album... to being pregnant and announcing it proudly😭 I love you @HalseyJanuary 27, 2021
“Halsey is pregnant & I’m bawling my eyes out,” one overwhelmed follower wrote.
“Halsey being pregnant is the best thing that’s happened in 2021 or ever,” another fan posted.
Halsey has spoken out about suffering from miscarriages in the past. While on The Doctors, Halsey revealed that she realized she was miscarrying while on stage during a tour.
Citing her struggles with endometriosis, Halsey said: "The sensation of looking a couple hundred teenagers in the face while you're bleeding through your clothes and still having to do the show, and realizing in that moment... I never want to make that choice ever again of doing what I love or not being able to because of this disease. So I put my foot down and got really aggressive about seeking treatment and I had surgery about a year ago and I feel a lot better."
