Le Creuset's final sale of 2024 is over, but I've found some secret places to shop it. You can still get 50% off some of the bran's most aspirational cookware and bakeware, if you know where to look.

Whenever people ask me 'Is Le Creuset worth it?' I always say yes, but with the caveat that you should shop it in the sales as and where you can. That's why I always wait for the sales to invest in any Le Creuset that I've been eyeing up all year long.

Whilst Le Creuset has closed up their final sale of the year (now you'll only get buy-one-get-one-half-price deals), I've scoured the internet and seen the brand's iconic casserole dishes, induction pans, and classic stainless steel sets halved in price. Now, I'm sharing those deals with you.

Best Le Creuset deals of the day

Le Creuset's expertise spans three main sections: cookware, bakeware, and tableware. To make your life a little easier, I've split them into sections. Each product still comes with all the Le Creuset style and quality, don't forget that lifetime guarantee too,

Best Le Creuset cookware deals

Le Creuset is perhaps best known for its cookware. The iconic casserole dishes and Dutch ovens dominate their offering, but you can also buy stainless steel, induction-hob-friendly pans, frying pans, and griddles. If it's not enamelled cast iron, it'll be made with either their 3-ply stainless steel or signature stainless steel.

Over the years, I've invested in one Le Creuset classic every time there was a sale. Whilst my eyes are firmly on the bakeware at the moment, the Heritage Dish Set has me tempted. Think about the open salads in the summers, traybakes in the autumn, and lasagnas in the winter.

Whether you're inspired by The Great British Bake Off, or getting ready for the festive season, make sure you're doing it in Le Creuset. I'll be honest, I'm more of a baker than a chef, so this is the section that's most likely to drain my bank account. What you have below is essentially my shortlist of everything I want need to buy. Help me narrow it down, because I really think I should clear out some space at home for the flan dish, bread oven, loaf tin, and cookie tray.

This is possibly one of the best investments you can make in the sale and not just because there's 50% off the price. You'll have seen a lot of non-toxic bakeware talk online and this is one of the few loaf tins that ticks the boxes for a teflon-free tin. If it's damaged, you can have it replaced. For a lifetime.

Best Le Creuset tableware deals

Your table deserves nothing but the finest plates, bowls, and grinders. When it comes to Le Creuset's tableware, it's our absolute favourite, especially in the sale. Each piece is crafted from thick stoneware. All the designs and colours are classics, so you can mix and match or go for a full set of everything.

There aren't any deals on Le Creuset's tableware at the moment. Trust me, I've looked. However, if you want to know what I have in my kitchen, here are my favourite Le Creuset pieces of all time.

FAQs

Will there be a Le Creuset Black Friday sale?

Le Creuset has closed-up their Black Friday sale, which is also known as the Le Creuset 'Colourful Friday' sale. This year, I saw some sensational savings from the brand including £135 off their Cast Iron Classic Round Casserole and £125 off their Cast Iron 2-Piece Cookware Set.

What time of year does Le Creuset go on offer?

Le Creuset deals tend to float around during different times of the year. For example, the brand often runs out-of-season clearance sales, selling their last-season items at a discount to make way for new collections.

Often, Le Creuset items will also be discounted during major shopping sale periods, such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday. You'll likely also find discounts at the end of the summer, in January (post-Christmas), and during Amazon Prime Day.

Even though the biggest sales of the year are largely behind us, there are still some offers around. And, don't forget about the Boxing Day and New Year's sales that (rather scarily) that far away. This is because a wide range of retailers that stock Le Creuset, such as Amazon and Wayfair, all take part in this shopping event too – so you'll have your pick of products to buy at a bargain price.

Where is the best place to get a Le Creuset casserole dish for cheap?

Right now, you can pick up a Round Casserole at John Lewis for over £100 less than the RRP, so I'd recommend doing your shopping over there. It's really rare to see a discount this good, even on Black Friday, since the Le Creuset casserole dish (or Dutch oven, as they are called in the US) is a cookware icon.

I'd really recommend investing in and looking after this like it's your pride and joy. Thanks to its long-wearing, keep-forever cast iron construction and wide range of vibrant colours, it's earned its place as a kitchen staple. If the round shape isn't what you're after, all Le Creuset's casseroles are suitable for stews, roasts, soups, casseroles and baking. The only downside to Le Creuset's casserole dishes is their higher price point, with the smallest size usually retailing from around £195, which is why the Le Creuset Black Friday deals are so great.

Why is Le Creuset usually so expensive?

Le Creuset cookware is extremely popular, but it is unfortunately very pricey. That is why, when their products are massively reduced during Black Friday, you should definitely snap them up – especially if you've had your eye on something specific, such as one of their best cast-iron skillets for a while.

But why are they so expensive? As a premium cookware brand, Le Creuset charges premium prices for the products, and for good reason. They are truly built to last, meaning you get what you pay for. Most of the brand's cast iron, 3-ply stainless steel, toughened nonstick and bakeware products come with Le Creuset's lifetime policy. So if they ever break or become faulty, the brand will repair or replace your item, no matter how long you've owned it. In the case of Le Creuset stoneware products, the brand also offers a 10-year guarantee.

Is Le Creuset worth it?

Many of Le Creuset's products are made to be passed down through generations – you might even own a Le Creuset given to you by a much-loved family member. In short, they are usually a worthwhile investment, that will likely last you far longer than other cheaper cookware can.

Investing in high-quality cookware means it will endure for years to come, and will reduce any need for re-buying items after a short time. It may be more expensive initially, but a sturdy stoneware dish or pot like the ones offered by Le Creuset should last for years (if not decades), without breaking or chipping. Plus, there's no denying they look chic, and are utterly timeless.

And while we all know that Le Creuset products make for great Christmas gifts for mom or Christmas gifts for your mother-in-law, for example, it's also worthwhile considering investing in one for yourself – especially if you enjoy cooking and often work between the stovetop and the oven (most of Le Creuset's cookware can transfer between both).

Plus, as an added bonus, Le Creuset pots and dishes can often become collector's items, especially if they are particularly hard to find like the Le Creuset Harry Potter collection. So your item could actually increase in value - though we make no promises on this.

How do I find the best Le Creuset deals?

If you're looking for the best Le Creuset deals and sales, there are certain things to keep in mind. When you shop for deals will be the most important factor, as prices will be slashed considerably during sales events such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Amazon Prime Day, Wayfair's Way Day Sale, and more. These will always be the best times to shop Le Creuset, as the brand rarely offers these discounts at other times of the year. Plus, there are often discounts to be found, as well as early access to sales, when you sign up to newsletters from retailers such as Le Creuset and Wayfair.

Another thing to keep in mind is to do your research: some retailers might increase the 'before' price (the RRP) on their site, to suggest that the saving they're offering is larger than it actually is. Always check the actual RRP of a product on the Le Creuset site before buying from another retailer.

Finally, one of the best reasons to invest in a Le Creuset product is the lifetime warranty that the brand offers; it's well-known that Le Creuset items are built to last, and the lifetime guarantee cements this. While most retailers offering Le Creuset deals and sales will feature the same promise, it's always worth making sure this is explicitly detailed.

What are cheaper alternatives to Le Creuset?

If you can't find what you're looking for in the sale right now, you have two options. One, you can play the long game. Check eBay, Amazon, Le Creuset, and other retailers relentlessly until the dish, pan, or jug that want comes into the sale. You'll have to practice patience, but you'll be able to get your hands on the real thing. There's something nice about being in the Le Creuset club.

The second option is that you go for a Le Creuset alternative. Whilst you don't get the brand name and prestige, you can get equal amounts of quality and style from brands such as Our Place and Staub. Sometimes, their products are even better too.

Here are a few of our favourite Le Creuset alternatives right now:

John Lewis Casserole Dish | £55-75 at John Lewis

John Lewis Casserole Dish | £55-75 at John Lewis

You can pick up some durable, beautiful cast iron from John Lewis and this beautiful blue casserole dish is the perfect example of their selection. You can pick up a smaller one for as cheap as £44 for a limited time, which is a steal.

Dunelm Casserole Dish | £42 at Dunelm

Dunelm Casserole Dish | £42 at Dunelm

I love it when you can find pieces like this in Dunelm. The cast iron looks a lot like Le Creuset and it feels like Le Creuset too. Reviewers use it for sourdough and slow bakes, but some say that the coating doesn't last as well as Le Creuset.

ProCook Casserole Dish | £55 at ProCook

ProCook Casserole Dish | £55 at ProCook

These pots and pans are popular with our experts. They've got the weight and durability of Le Creuset with some versatile colour options. This shallow dish is great for slow simmering too.

Habitat Cast Iron Casserole Dish | £35 at Habitat

Habitat Cast Iron Casserole Dish | £35 at Habitat

This is another great Le Creuset lookalike. It is the second best seller in their cookware line and has five-star reviews across the board on the Habitat site. Plus, you'll get Nectar points with your purchase. It's a double saving.
