John Lewis launches virtual Christmas shop so you can get the full experience from your home
John Lewis has launched a virtual Christmas shop for customers to get inspired from home.
John Lewis has come up with a way for us all to get some Christmas inspiration and do our standard window shopping from the comfort of our own homes.
It’s getting to that time of year when the pressure builds up to try and tick off our present lists, but with coronavirus cases on the rise again, many of us may be wary about heading out to a busy shopping centre.
So to give us all an opportunity to do some standard window shopping, John Lewis has launched a virtual Christmas shop so that customers can have a wander around without even standing up from the sofa.
Customers can visit the virtual John Lewis Christmas shop through their computers or smartphones and have a scroll through the store where they will be met with all of their favourite bits.
From best foundations and best mascaras in the makeup counter section, to best hair straighteners, best hair dryers and best fitness watches in the appliances section.

And of course, you can head up to fashion to have a wander around the best jeans and best bras sections before moving over to the homes section to look through anything you might want to gift to a special couple or family in your life.
You can even zoom in on certain sections to make things more realistic and there are even Christmas trees and decorations on offer.
"We know that Christmas might look a little different to our customers this year, with smaller celebrations at home and video calls to loved ones,” said Dan Cooper, head of Christmas at John Lewis & Partners.
"But we also know that many are looking forward to the small joys that the festive season brings: from decorated fireplaces to wreaths on doors. Our customers are planning earlier than ever to revel in the festivities and likely spread out the tasks to avoid any last minute rushes.
"This year we have created a Christmas shop that will of course delight and inspire our customers but we have also focused on making it a simple journey that means they can tick off their list happily and safely."
