Costa Coffee has unveiled the start date of its new 2020 festive menu - with three iconic flavours.
When it comes to Christmas, there are a few little traditions we all like to indulge in. And aside from a gin advent calendar or a mulled wine, a festive coffee is one of them.
And Costa has got coffee and chocolate lovers drooling at its three new flavours - After eight mint, Quality Street's The Purple One and Terry's Chocolate Orange.
And they look divine....

Starting on 3rd November, customers will be able to order any one of the three special festive drinks to help lift their spirits, in light of the world health crisis which has seen tighter restrictions including rule of six and 10pm curfews.
The coffee chain made the announcement on its Facebook page, and captioned the launch clip, "At Costa, Christmas isn’t cancelled! In fact, we’ve teamed up with all your festive favourites, to bring you the most wonderful range of the year. After Eight Hot Chocolate, Terry’s Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate & Quality Street - The Purple One Latte. Available from 3rd November."
The flavours in more detail:
- The Purple One - This festive twist on Costa Coffee's classic handcrafted latte has a rich caramel chocolate sauce and roasted hazelnut syrup, topped with a light dairy swirl and drizzled with a moreish caramel chocolate sauce.
- After Eight - The coffee shops' signature hot chocolate and a festive splash of cool peppermint syrup, finished with a light creamy topping and dusting of chocolate powder.
- Terry's Chocolate Orange - this new drink is a perfect blend of Costa Coffee's Signature Hot Chocolate, flavoured with a specially created orange syrup, finished with a light dairy swirl and a festive glittery sprinkle.Each drink comes with a Terry's Chocolate Orange segment but is available at Costa Express machines, at Shell locations nationwide and in stores.

But it doesn't stop there. Costa has confirmed the new flavours will join its extensive festive range including Black Forest Hot Choc, Gingerbread & Cream Latte, Irish Velvet, Spiced Cappuccino and Spiced Apple.
And fans can't get enough of the flavours. One wrote, "How am I going to choose?", another fan told her boyfriend, "I’m sorry I can’t spend a penny on you for Xmas my moneys going to the new hot chocolates after eights, the purple one ohhh I’m so excited!!!!"
And a third excited fan wrote, " I reckon I'm gonna be skint by Christmas won't be able to choose so will just have to go more to keep trying them all lol x"
