The hunt for a good shampoo for thin hair officially ends here - and we have Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (opens in new tab) to thank for the reprieve.
The supermodel recently raved about the Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo (opens in new tab) in an interview with The Strategist.
“My hair is thick, but the strands themselves are fine, and when I was pregnant they just broke. I was not that person whose hair got really thick and luscious while pregnant," Huntington-Whiteley shared. "My colorist told me to try this shampoo from Pureology’s strengthening line. I’ve since been really, really, really impressed by how my hair went from being quite dry and brittle to hydrated, smooth, and shiny. It’s back to life.”

Huntington-Whiteley is reknowned for her perfectly coiffed tresses. So it's not insignificant to learn that this £15 shampoo is her secret.
Pureology was one of the first vegan haircare lines housed in recyclable plastic bottles. The L'Oreal luxury brand prides itself on salon-worthy results and this particular shampoo is not different.

The formula contains two key ingredients that help to prevent hair loss: keravis, a protein that fights against breakage, and astaxanthin.
Rich in antioxidants, astaxanthin protects hair follicles against oxidative damage from pollution and UV rays.
Astaxanthin also has anti-inflammatory properties. Meaning it soothes the scalp (opens in new tab) and is thought to help reduce hair loss (opens in new tab) by lowering levels of the DHT hormone.
Another plus point, Pureology Strength Cure Strengthening Shampoo is sulfate-free, which is not only good news for colour-treated hair.
Those with sensitive (opens in new tab) or dry skin (opens in new tab) may find that sulphates - detergents that foam up on contact with wet hair- cause the scalp to get irritated if not rinsed off properly.
This irritation can affect hair growth - not something someone with already fine or thinning hair (opens in new tab) wants to hear.
So next time you want supermodel hair that swishes with every step, add this shampoo to basket.
