Grey hair is officially in, according to the Oscar-winning actress Allison Janney. If you're tired of the constant root touch-ups, then Allison highly recommends embracing your natural hair saying how "freeing" it's been for her.

In an interview on The Drew Barrymore show, Allison opened up to Drew, explaining her motivation to embrace her natural locks.

"I cannot tell you how amazing it is to feel free," she said. "Free from hair color and hair extensions and hair tapes and blah blah blah. To be able to run my hands through my hair and hopefully sometime a man will be able to run his hands through my hair and appreciate it, it's just heaven. I'm enjoying this new chapter in my hairdo world."

Drew praised the look saying that Allison looked "stunning" as she showed off her silver-gray hairdo.

Allison has been known to try out bold looks in the past, which the host couldn't let go unrecognized.

"I have loved the effort that you have made being the chameleon you are with the looks you've presented over the years," praised Drew.

Flattered by Drew's thoughtful comments, Allison noted that she is a big fan of a good wig.

"I think they're so transformative. Even before I made it as an actress, when I was back in New York, I would put on wigs to go to the grocery store just for fun. I love wigs. Everyone knows I wear a wig on the Mom program now for sure," she said.

And of course, like everyone else, the actress has also had her share of hair mishaps which she opened up to Drew about.

"One time, I was flirting with this guy. I was walking down the street in New York, and I was just kind of putting my hands through my hair, and two extensions came out. I was just dropping them on the ground. I've had more embarrassing moments with hair extensions coming out," she said.

Since embracing her natural hair, Allison has been taking every opportunity to show it off. From posting on her Instagram account to making her rounds on talk shows, the star is showing us that grey is indeed very good.
