We all can appreciate a good joke and Heidi Klum sure knows how to make one. The model recently had some fun on her Instagram to celebrate April Fool's Day.

In an Instagram post, the model shared a photo of what appears to be her posing with Sex and the City stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon. In her caption, she shares the "exciting" news that she is the newest official member of the iconic cast.

"How do you say Samantha in German? It has been SO hard to keep this a surprise but I can finally share that I am joining the new season of Sex and the City! I can’t wait to toss back some Cosmos and kick up my Manolos with these amazing ladies @sarahjessicaparker @iamkristindavis @cynthiaenixon."

Unfortunately for Sex and the City fans, the news is not true. Samantha will not be returning to the reboot (even in the form of Heidi Klum). Heidi shared the disappointing news in a follow-up post that featured her bare-chested under a blazer with the words "April Fools" written across her forehead. She also made sure to mention that she could never take on the role of Samantha who was originally played by the irreplaceable Kim Cattrall.

"Just kidding @sarahjessicaparker  @iamkristindavis  @cynthiaenixon  #aprilfools  #thereisonlyonesamanthaandthatiskimcattrall," wrote Heidi.

News of the reboot broke the internet when the original cast shared the news on their social media accounts.

Sarah Jessica Parker teased the reboot with a video on her Instagram account and the caption, "I couldn’t help but wonder... where are they now? X, SJ @HBOMax  @JustLikeThatMax  #AndJustLikeThat #SATCNextChapter."

The video gained over 7.5 million views and fans couldn't help but express their excitement, with one even admitting they were "just crying for joy" over the news.

The reboot will be titled titled And Just Like That... and will feature 10-episodes available to stream on HBO Max.
