Our gardening endeavors are in full swing, and Farmers' Almanac has the key to a verdant sanctuary. Although the encyclopedia for all-things natural might not always tell us what we want to hear—those summer 2021 predictions are less than promising—when it comes to creating the ultimate outdoor oasis, we know we're in good hands (even if our beach outings are not).

Recently, the site rounded up the best flowering trees that add gorgeous hues to gardens, and it certainly got us thinking. Not only do the experts say these selections are a great way to add variety to your greenery, but deciduous flowering trees provide something different each season. It sounds like a no-brainer if you ask us.

While you're creating that beautiful outdoor hangout, be sure to keep an eye on furniture and accessories, too. (You'll need a place to enjoy those summer recipes for outdoor entertaining, after all.) We recommend the cheap yet reliable IKEA balcony table that's perfect for small spaces. (It's available in both the U.S. and U.K.)

We can't forget about Le Creuset's new trinkets. In the U.K., the kitchenware brand just launched its nature-inspired Botanique collection, featuring goodies in fig, nectar, deep teal, and artichaut. In the U.S., kitchen enthusiasts are going crazy over the new Cool Mint color—essentially springtime in the form of a dutch oven.
