With the wellness trend seeing no signs of abating, festivals are increasing incorporating events that help festivalgoers remain cool, calm and collected.
From meditation to mindful cooking and forest bathing and fitness everything in between, you’ll be able to squeeze your annual hit of health and wellbeing into just 48 hours or less.
Below are six of the best.
When: 1st - 4th August
How much: Tickets from £189.70 plus booking fee
A regular staple on the festival circuit, Wilderness plays hosts to music heavyweights including the likes of Tom Odell and Grove Armada, while also packing in a varied programme of arts and theatre events a delicious food and drink offering that includes Petersham Nurseries and a Sipsmith Gin Palace.
What about the wellbeing offering I hear you say? Well that does disappoint either. From Paddleboard yoga to a Lakeside Spa and workshops covering everything from Toxic Masculinity to how to ‘Dare to Dream’, it’s all there, and it’s all done in amid the calm-inducing farmland and woods of Cornbury Park.
When: 19th – 21st July

If combining festival going with fitness is your idea of heaven then LoveFit is the festival for you. Set in the stunning grounds of the 17th-century St Clere Estate, the likes of hot yoga champions Fierce Grace, cycle sessions from Another_Space and Wild Runs for those who want to get back to nature at its best. Classes can be booked in advance from July 1st and there are also events such as mindful hikes, talks and live music to enjoy. What’s not to love?
Wanderlust 108 festival
When: 27th July

Want to get some much needed wellness R & R but don’t have a full weekend spare? Then Wanderlust 108 could be just what you’ve been looking for. Taking place in leafy Battersea Park London over just one day — yes you read that right — proceedings kick off at 7am and end at 6pm. During that time festival goers will pack in events including a 5k run or walk, yoga and meditation triathlons, intention setting as well as those all important breathers for a nutritious lunch and cup of coffee.
Soul Circus festival
When: 16th - 19th August
Where: The Cotswolds

This yoga and wellness festival set in the rural Cotswolds countryside, will bring glitter, greenery and goddess vibes into your life. There are over 250 classes on offer incorporating yoga, fitness, mindfulness and more as well as 100 inspirational teachers and spiritual guides such as renowned yoga teacher Stewart Gilchrist and food and wellness guru Jasmine Hemsley. There’s also an on-site spa, and a programme of live music.

The UK’s newest wellness festival makes its debut this year, and has an amazing programme of events that includes yoga, breathwork, woodland exercises and a curated panel of speakers discussing everything from mental health to nutrition. And as if that wasn’t enough there’s also an on-site bar and DJ, a ‘wild’ spa and glamping on offer.
Set up by Luxury Hotel and Travel Expert and health and wellness aficionado Anna Hayward the zero-waste festival will also ensure minimum impact on its stunning site in the pretty village of Ebbesbourne Wake.
Wild and Well
When: 11th – 13th October
Where: Various venues around Bristol
How much: TBC
Taking place in various venues around Bristol’s harbourside, as well as off-site locations such as a stunning yurt on Brandon Hill Park, the festival is based around four key themes – Move, Eat, Connect and Explore.
Events include everything from wild cooking, yoga and forest bathing to panel talks and workshops on everything from contentment to community. While this year’s full roster of speakers has yet to be announced, last year’s line up included the likes of renowned clinical psychologist, speaker and broadcaster Simon Cohen and open water swimmer Katie Maggs.
