Fortum and Mason are offering free Afternoon Teas worth £60

Fortnum and Mason are re-opening the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon from the 4 July and here’s how to get a free Afternoon Tea.

Whether it’s a cup of coffee, a piece of toast or a full Sunday roast, do you find that things just taste better when you haven’t laboured over making it for yourself?

Afternoon Tea is a classic example of this. Ordinarily, a simple cucumber sandwich might not receive a warm welcome. But placed in front of you on an attractive cake stand and surrounded by other sweet and savoury treats, suddenly it’s one of the best sandwiches you’ve ever eaten.

Now that restaurants and bars are starting to re-open, we can finally get back to dining out and enjoying someone else’s hard work.

From the 4 July, Fortnum & Mason are re-opening the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon. To celebrate, and to help bring people back together, the restaurant has launched its first-ever promotion.

How to get a free Afternoon Tea from Fortnum & Mason

Fortnum’s will serve a complimentary Classic afternoon tea for each one that is ordered. It's the first time the restaurant has ever introduced such a promotion.

The offer is valid for bookings throughout July. To book a table simply head to the website or you can try your luck at a walk-in booking.

Zia Zareem-Slade, customer experience director at Fortnum & Mason, explained. "We wanted to give our guests an opportunity to reconnect and reunite once again and we know from experience that so many memories are created over Afternoon Tea.

"We’re so thrilled to be welcoming people to come and make memories with us once again and have worked tirelessly to ensure that, although new safety measures are in place, the atmosphere diners know and love remains the same."

Fortnum’s Classic Afternoon Tea includes freshly baked cakes and scones that are served warm. The deal can only be used for bookings made between 4-31 July with a maximum group size of 6.
