Struggling to find the perfect present? Everyone loves receiving edible gifts, and this blackberry gin will go down a treat with anyone with a taste for interesting tipples. Tie the bottle with a festive bow for that extra special touch. You could even add to a gin-fulled gift, how about looking at these best gin advent calendars?
Ingredients
- 900g blackberries
- 450g caster sugar
- 400ml (14fl oz) gin
YOU WILL NEED
- sterilised bottles
Method
- Place the blackberries and sugar in a large pan and cook down very gently. Stir until the fruit becomes pulpy and the sugar has dissolved.
- Pour the gin into a jug and strain the fruit mix into this. Stir well and pour into the sterilised bottles. It will last for 1 month.
