Prince Charles proves even royals struggle with face mask mishaps in hilarious new photos
Prince Charles was pictured struggling with his face mask during a recent royal visit
Prince Charles has shown that even the royals experience their fair share of face mask mishaps as a particularly hilarious moment was captured in photographs during his recent visit to Oxfordshire.
- Prince Charles visited the Mini Factory in Oxfordshire on June 8, where he reflected on four generations of sustainable cars.
- The Prince of Wales was featured in several snaps taken during the visit and it seems that even royals struggle with face mask mishaps.
- In other royal news, the Queen has invited Prince Harry to lunch, ahead of his summer trip to the UK.
Prince Charles has appeared in hilarious new photos and it’s clear that even the Royal Family struggle with face mask mishaps. The Prince of Wales has been observed taking an even more prominent role in recent months, with some suggesting that the Royal Family will “step up” to support the Queen at future engagements following the sad passing of Prince Philip. Last month, Her Majesty was accompanied by Prince Charles as they faced a heartbreaking detail at the Queen’s first major royal appearance since losing her husband.
Meanwhile, Prince Charles has also continued to carry out his own solo engagements in recent weeks, including his visit to the Mini Factory on June 8. This comes after his son Prince William and Kate Middleton recently concluded their popular Royal Tour of Scotland, where an eagle-eyed fan spotted something very unusual in a photograph.
And it was during Prince Charles’ Oxfordshire factory visit that the future king featured in an equally enlightening picture. After making a heartfelt speech to employees at the Mini Factory, Prince Charles was photographed attempting to put his face mask back on.
Though it seems this was far easier said than done, as the Prince of Wales appears with his mask hilariously secured over his eyes for a brief moment. Whilst people are committed to finding the best reusable face masks for going out and about, securing them on and off again isn’t always easy. So it’s very heart-warming to think that even the royals suffer the occasional mask mishap.
This funny photograph followed Prince Charles' passionate speech, during which he reflected on the importance of sustainable cars. Having spoken out in the past about his fears about “broken promises” to his grandchildren regarding the fight against the climate crisis, he once again discussed the sense of responsibility he feels to his family.
The Prince of Wales explained, “The development of technology like electric vehicles, or green hydrogen for that matter for heavy transport, is vital for maintaining the health of our world for future generations, something I am only too aware of today, having recently become a grandfather for the fifth time.”
