We all envy her for looking younger than her years, and having a body to die for - but JLO has revealed the simple trick to looking so great.

The Love Don't Cost a Thing singer gave her fans the low-down on her skincare routine and simple beauty hacks via her newsletter OntheJLO, revealing that when she's had a good night's sleep she can see the visible difference in her skin.

The Hustlers star revealed she aims to get 7 - 9 hours of sleep per night, but admits that hasn't always been the case and used to survive on 3 - 5 hours of sleep a night.

Whether it's the best eye creams or night creams, we all have a trick for looking youthful - but the star admits that sleep is her biggest hack for looking 10 years younger.

JLO, who is due to release a Netflix documentary, next month said in her newsletter, "There was a time in my life where I used to sleep three to five hours a night. I’d be on set all day and in the studio all night and doing junkets and filming videos on the weekends. I was in my late 20s and I thought I was invincible."

However, the lack of sleep started to affect her and after a panic attack, she sought help from her doctor who advised her to start getting more sleep.

"I realized how serious the consequences could be of ignoring what my body and mind needed to be healthy — and that’s where my journey to wellness began," she wrote.

Jennifer Lopez engagement ring, received from her beau Ben Affleck after reuniting with the actor, is one of the priciest out there say experts - but her beauty secret is totally free. She explains, "sleep to me is the most underrated beauty secret out there.

"Sometimes I wake up and say, 'Wow! I just lost 10 years off my face!' That's what a good night's sleep can do for you, and it accumulates over time."
