What's the design like?

Much like opting for refillable makeup, this advent calendar is one way to make more conscious choices this Christmas. The products are made with Community Fair Trade recycled plastic, which is an excellent step towards sustainable beauty. The sturdy, jewelry box-like calendar can also be used as your best makeup organizer, or you can upcycle parts as gift tags or decorations.

The calendar's illustrations celebrate the brand's Community Fair Trade partners who helped make it happen. As you open the stunning green box, a pop-up scene depicts the calendar's journey to the recipient, and behind each numbered box is a fact, quote or wish that will inspire you each December morning. The Body Shop Box of Wishes and Wonders Advent Calendar is the grandest of the three advent calendar offerings from the brand and costs $260/£145, which is a significant sum. 

The products inside have a combined worth of $409/£219. So its price tag offers a total saving of $149/£74. The entirely full-sized product offering is especially impressive and means the products will see you through the festive season and beyond. Compared with many calendars of the same price that contain minis only, it does feel like a good value option,
