Royal fans go wild for Kate Middleton's straight hairstyle in NHS Instagram video

Fans of Kate Middleton have praised her sleek new hairstyle - which was worn straight in a new Instagram video where she spoke to five nurses from University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.

·   The Instagram post was published to their account on Friday and showed Kate’s
   locks straight and flowing over her shoulders.

·    Fans of the Duchess praised her new campaign but also showed appreciation for
    her new hairstyle.

Most of us are having to deal with split ends and roots growing out but Kate Middleton's hair in lockdown seems to be flourishing - and fans have noticed.

The Duchesses showcased her glam hair and new style while she spoke to nurses via video link on Tuesday - and showed highlights of the call via Instagram on Friday. The video, where nurses spoke about caring for people during the pandemic, highlighted Kate's patron role for the Nursing Now campaign.

Fans were quick to call the nurses 'heroes' for all their efforts, but also commented on her Kate's locks, with one saying: "Duchess of Cambridge you look absolutely stunning with straight hair -  you should make straight hair your signature hairstyle, I love your straight hair I'm obsessed."

Kate, who is known for wearing her hair in tousled waves, wore it poker straight for the first time in years, while it also looked in great condition. She matched her straightened hair with a black blazer and white shirt.

A detail that fans noticed, with one saying: "Kate your hair looks really good straightened!", while another said: "Real heroes (love Duchess Catherine's straight hair! You look like you're 25!)".

In the video, which had nearly a million views, Kate went on to congratulate the nurses on all their hard work during the pandemic, she said: "You hear time and time again about the amazing things nurses up and down the country are doing, going that extra mile. 

"And it's the things that, you know, it's not part of the training and the things that you're taught but the things that come from your heart.

While she added: "I think that's what matters so much now, these acts of kindness to the patients you're looking after, that are in your care, that family members aren't able to be there, but you are going that extra mile and being there."
