Hillary Clinton has praised Dolly Parton for her clever wardrobe choice on vaccine day, hinting that this could be the start of a pandemic trend.
After delaying her Covid-19 vaccine for several weeks, Dolly finally stepped forward to receive the life-saving shot on Tuesday.
The 75-year-old country music icon was hailed last year for her contribution to vaccine research, after donating a whopping $1million to the cause.
Dolly was given the Moderna shot at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. A longtime proponent of vaccination, the philanthropist showed fans just how simple a procedure it can be - especially when you choose the right clothing.
For an easy administration of the jab, Dolly wore a shoulderless navy blouse - with her signature sparkles, of course.

The practical outfit even grabbed the attention of Hillary Clinton, who has also been a fan of the off-the-shoulder style in the past.

“Loved seeing @dollyparton bring back the cold shoulder as a vaccination look. Shall we make this a trend?” she suggested to her 5.4 million Instagram followers. She accompanied the photo of Dolly with a throwback picture of herself donning a shoulderless Donna Karan dress in 1993.
If that’s what it takes to get people vaccinated, we’re sure Dolly would be on board. The Grammy-award-winning musician was adamant in her message to the public on Tuesday, urging everyone to get the shot.
“I’m old enough to get it, and I’m smart enough to get it,” she said. “I wanted to tell everybody that you should get out there and do it too.”
Dolly also showed her humorous side by performing a parody version of her hit song, Jolene, replacing the lyrics with, ‘Vaccine, vaccine, vaccine, vaccine I’m begging of you please don’t hesitate” and “Once you’re dead, that’s a bit too late.”
