Kate Garraway tries out this season's biggest trend in high street skirt

She’s known for her eye-catching outfits when presenting Good Morning Britain, but Kate Garraway stepped out of her usual comfort zone with her most recent look.

Fully embracing this season’s animal print trend, Kate shunned her usual dress and heels combo and instead opted for a faux snakeskin skirt.

The a-line shape is not only super flattering, skimming over her waist and thighs, but the classic cut contrasts perfectly with the unique yellow-toned print and high shine fabric.

Adding a sports luxe feel to her outfit, we love how Kate has teamed her skirt with a bold yellow polo top.

The silky fabric and unusual yellow ochre shade elevate this basic to a statement piece. Classic black courts with a hint of mesh elongate her legs and finish off the look perfectly.

Uploading a snap of her outfit to Instagram, Kate made a joking reference to fellow daytime TV star Holly Willoughby’s new presenting gig on I’m a Celebrity – captioning the photo, ‘it’s a jungle out there!’

Fans went wild for her bold outfit, with one commenting, ‘the skirt is beautiful Kate and you look so beautiful wearing it.’ Whilst another said, ‘you’ve inspired me to buy a shiny snakeskin skirt.’

This isn’t the first time Kate has been seen wearing Zara though. Back in August she sent fans running to stores to steal her style with a pair of simple courts. Not content with just one pair, she splashed out on both the nude and yellow version of the same patent heel.
