Apart from Princess Diana, Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher is probably the most talked about character in the fourth season of Netflix's The Crown.

The actress – who is also famous for her leading roles in The X-Files and The Fall – had us hooked on her uncanny portrayal of the country's first woman Prime Minister, alongside Olivia Colman's Queen Elizabeth II.

This week fans were also pleased to hear the announcement that she has been lined up to star in yet another Netflix special, Robin Robin, alongside Richard E Grant.

We're always intrigued to hear about the beauty products that celebrities slather on to their skin – especially when it comes directly from them.

Fortunately enough, Gillian Anderson has shared one of the beauty products she used on the regular, and it's seriously affordable to boot.

In an Instagram post about her Sex Education character, Jean, the star raved about Dr Organic's "amazingly hydrating Skin Lotion for all-over body moisturising."
