Dancing isn't only good for your body but also your mind, as practising maximises cognitive function because you have to remember all the steps! And who better to teach you than your favourite dancers from BBC's Strictly Come Dancing?
At the Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor, Berkshire, regular 'Dancing with the Stars' weekends are held, featuring Anton Du Beke, Kristina Rihanoff, Robin Windsor and Erin Boag. Over three days, you'll be treated to a variety of dance showcases, as the four stars show you their best moves, as well as ballroom and Latin dance classes with the experts (there are classes for beginners as well as more experienced dancers). There's a Black Tie Ball on the Saturday night, where you and your partner can try out some of the steps you've learned during the day. You can have up to seven hours of dance classes throughout the weekend, lasting an hour each.
The Beaumont Estate Hotel offers a touch of country house chic, with a stunning setting in pristine gardens, and slick, modern decor inside. The Hanover Ballroom has a ceiling of twinkling lights, which makes it feel magical to dance in.
The weekend costs from £439pp, including B&B, all classes and dinner. The next dates are Friday 10 - Sunday 12 July 2015; and Friday 15 - Sunday 17 April 2016. For more info and to book, visit donaheys.co.uk/events
