The third trailer for Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow goes viral
The third trailer for the Black Widow movies goes viral and fans are obsessed
The final trailer to Black Widow, a spin-off film from the MCU Universe that stars Scarlett Johannsen and Florence Pugh, has gone viral.
In July 2021, Disney and Marvel will finally release a solo film that solely focuses on Natasha Romanoff, the character played by Scarlett Johanssen in the MCU Universe. This film was originally set to release in Spring 2020, but due to the pandemic, the release date was postponed until Summer 2021.
Fans have loved the first two trailers for the new Black Widow movie, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, it was the third trailer for this film that smashed all expectations. Hollywood Reporter announced, “Marvel and Disney's third Black Widow trailer scored more than 70 million viewers in its first 24 hours.”

Hollywood Reporter revealed, “The third Black Widow trailer surpassed numbers for subsequent trailers for Black Panther (48 million) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (52 million), as well as outpaced first-look trailers for WandaVision (53 million), Loki (36 million) and Falcon and The Winter Soldier (20.3 million).”
Florence Pugh, who stars as Yelena Belova in the film, took to social media to promote the trailer. In a caption, the star said, “Oh my goodness. I can’t stop saying “it’s right around the corner..” I know to a lot of people the date being pushed for the release of this movie multiple times has caused annoyance, but in all honesty I truly believe it was the correct decision.”
Florence went on to assure fans that this film is definitely worth the wait. “This film deserves the big screens, it deserves the loud speakers ‘THUD THUD’ when the Marvel logo screams across the screen. It deserves that sensation of watching a Marvel movie alongside other excited fans and movie goers. It deserves its viewers feeling comfortable and safe in their seats. It deserves all of it. I’m so excited. I’m so proud,” said the actress.
