This £10 Nivea serum is almost identical to Victoria Beckham’s new £180 launch – and boasts rave reviews
We'll take the extra £170...
When Victoria Beckham launched her brand new serum earlier this week we knew straightaway that we wanted a piece of it.
That was until we noticed the hefty price tag.
The Cell Rejuvenating Power Serum, which the style icon developed in collaboration with revolutionary doctor-led skincare brand Augustinus Bader, has been hailed as the ‘next generation of serum’ for its patented blend of ingredients that claim to leave the skin stronger and healthier.
And Victoria’s makeup-free Instagram testimonial nearly convinced us to drop the cool £180 for the wonder serum, with her clear complexion and insane glow and the fact that somehow there’s not a wrinkle to be seen.
But that was until we came across a humble high-street alternative that could save our bank accounts almost £170.
Nivea’s Cellular Anti-Age Concentrated Face Serum claims to rejuvenate the skin with its concentrated blend of ingredients that work towards cell renewal to leave skin fresh and youthful.
Containing skincare powerhouse hyaluronic, a major character of Victoria’s signature serum, the product claims to reduce the appearances of wrinkles and fine lines and leave skin firm and smooth.

‘Wake up juice in a bottle!’ raved one fan. ‘I have been using this range for over a month now and this lovely serum is the star product for me.
‘It smells lovely and fresh, glides onto the skin without feeling at all greasy and then pow - your skin just glows instantly and you look fresh faced and wide awake.

‘Excellent value for money, skin appears instantly smoother, feels soft and looks glowing - magic!’.
‘A premium-feel product at a very good price,’ commented another. ‘[It] is a lovely product which works as well as many far more expensive alternatives.
‘The serum comes in a neat little pump bottle, you get a generous amount, it smells lovely and is easy to apply. Unlike some serums, this is a cream and not a gel. It absorbs into the skin quickly and easily and is a great boost for your skin before applying moisturiser in the morning.

‘My skin felt smoother, plumper, fresher and more revitalized. If you fancy trying a serum but don't want to splash out too much money, this is a great product to try’.
‘Excellent value for money,’ agreed another. ‘A very light barely there serum. It feels lovely on your skin & leaves it feeling very silky & smooth.
‘I have tried a lot of serums & this ranks with the best as it leaves your skin feeling fresh & hydrated all day. It is unscented as well which I like.
‘I do think my skin looks firmer after using but I think I will have to wait a little longer to see a reduction to my fine lines. You could use this serum with any brand of moisturiser & I think the price is good too as I have been using this for over a month & there is still some left in the pack’.
Time to get that VB look…
