Whether you’re an uninitiated The Ordinary newbie, or your bathroom cabinet’s practically bursting with their bestselling serums, there’s no denying that the purse-friendly beauty brand delivers no-nonsense, effective skincare solutions. So imagine the ensuing excitement when we heard that The Ordinary are offering customers almost a quarter off everything throughout November, as an alternative to Black Friday deals.
Deciem, parent company of The Ordinary, are offering customers almost a quarter off their beloved cleansers, acids, peels and moisturisers throughout November in lieu of a one-day-only Black Friday sale.
The only thing better than one day of mega-discounts on our favourite skincare buys? A whole month of them, naturally.
View the brilliant beauty deal below…
Throughout November, The Ordinary are offering 23% off their cult classic skincare – from plumping hyaluronic acids to exfoliating peels. Deciem, the brand's parent company, are discounting just about everything for almost everyday this month, apart from Black Friday on November 27th. On the big day itself, the brand will shut down its online store and pause all offers in a bid to get customers to shop more slowly. And with a whole month to take advantage of the discounts, we're hardly complaining. Whether shopping for yourself or another beauty lover in your life, this month-long deal is a brilliant way to restock your beauty cabinet with your favourite The Ordinary goodies. So don't miss out!
Whether stocking up on old favourites, or taking advantage of the discount to try something new, The Ordinary’s November sale is packed full of brilliant Black Friday beauty deals. (Or Knowvember, as they’re calling it.)
Fans of The Ordinary’s deeply hydrating Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 serum will be able to bag a 60ml bottle for just £8.16 in the discount – reduced from £10.60. While those suffering from dull winter skin can get the brand's highly-rated Vitamin C Suspension for just £3.77.
The brand's rejection of a Black Friday sale in favour of a month-long discount is part of their campaign to combat hyper-consumerism, and get shoppers to prioritise quality over quantity.
'Last November, we asked you to shop slowly. We said that skincare purchases should be based on education over impulse, and highlighted the importance of conscious consumption,' the brand said of their decision.
‘For us, Black Friday no longer felt like a people or planet-friendly event, and so we closed our stores and website for a moment of nothingness. We did, however, still want to bring you a saving. And so we did something we had never done before by offering 23 per cent off every product for the entire month.’
The Ordinary is an evolving collection of treatments offering familiar, effective clinical technologies with integrity. With such a broad range of formulations, including Antioxidants, Direct Acids, Vitamin C, Peptides, Retinoids and more, we know that it can be a little daunting to figure out where to start. To (hopefully) make things a little easier, Nafisah from our Lab team is sharing a Beginner’s Guide to The Ordinary. Here are few important notes that we recommend considering when exploring The Ordinary: ✨ We suggest using no more than 3 serum formulations in a single regimen for optimal skin penetration. 💧 Generally, we recommend applying water-based solutions first, followed by anhydrous or oil formulations, and finally cream/suspension formulas. Thinnest to thickest applies in most cases. 💫 If you have more than one water-based serum you’d like to use, you can apply based on the priority of your concern (the product that targets the most important concern should go first). 💦 About 2-3 drops of each serum and 1 pea-sized amount of creams should be enough for the full face and neck. 💛 Always (always!) patch test first! For a full guide on how to patch test a product, please visit theordinary.com/patchtest We hope this helps you get started on your journey with The Ordinary. As always, if you have any questions please reach out at DECIEM.com/contact or leave us a comment. 💬 To watch the full video please visit our YouTube channel (link in bio) and subscribe for more KNOWvember content! 📺🎓 The Ordinary, NIOD, & more.

This means that instead of one frenzied day of filling your basket, you have a whole month to stock up on The Ordinary goodies for yourself, as well as the beauty lovers on your Christmas list.
(We can't think of anyone who wouldn't love to find The Ordinary's The Daily Set – an A-Z daily skincare regime now reduced to just £11.55 – under the tree come Christmas morning.)
With the brand's most popular products tending to sell out, we'd advise getting your favourites in your basket soon, though, to ensure you don't miss out. Shop The Ordinary Knowvember sale here.
Go on, treat yourself...
