Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made no secret about their desire to have more children, and bookies have slashed the odds on them announcing a pregnancy.
- The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are parents to one-year-old Archie
- An expert says it seems ‘certain’ that the couple will announce they are expecting in 2021
- It follows royal news of Sophie Wessex and Prince Philip's special connection
Royal fans are convinced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will announce they are expecting a second baby in 2021.
The odds on an impending announcement have been slashed and a spokesperson for Bookmaker Coral claims it seems “certain” that the news is coming.
According to The Sun, Harry Aitkenhead said, “It seems certain that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will add to their family and we make it odds on they announce before the end of the year that they are expecting.”
The couple are parents to one-year-old Archie and have made no secret that they’d love to have another child.
While they’d love to extend their brood, The Duke said they’ll have “two kids, maximum” in a bid to protect the planet.
He made the admission during a conversation with conservationist Jane Goodall, saying, “I think, weirdly, because of the people that I’ve met and the places that I’ve been fortunate enough to go to, I’ve always had a connection and a love for nature. I view it differently now, without question.
“I’ve always wanted to try and ensure that, even before having a child and hoping to have children..."
Dr Goodall then jumped in - saying she hoped the parents would have "not too many" kids.
To which Prince Harry replied, "Two, maximum!”
The new parents are currently enjoying life in Santa Barbara with their “lively” son Archie, after stepping down from their roles as senior royals earlier this year.
While the bold move caused controversy at the time, the couple are thrilled to be enjoying quality time with their son.
“We're just trying to embrace all of the quality time we get with our son right now and not missasingle moment of his growth and development,” they confessed.
