The Queen and Justin Trudeau got on like a house on fire during their official meeting in Windsor Castle. It appears that Her Majesty was also bringing down the house during her chat with the highly amused Canadian PM.
He's is visiting the UK for talks on the war in Ukraine with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his Dutch counterpart Mark Rutte. As well as these important discussions, concerning how to help the people of Ukraine, he also made time to visit Her Majesty.
Throughout her reign and during the Platinum Jubilee, the British Monarch is celebrated for her strength and dedication to her position. However, there are countless examples of her being hilarious too.
From the Queen's surprising party trick to the Queen’s hilarious response after Balmoral tourists failed to recognize her—it's pretty clear she's got a great sense of humor. Even on her downtime, the Queen wrote ‘wickedly funny’ letters on behalf of her beloved corgis—all in the name of good fun.
Fans were delighted to see the Her Majesty in such great form, following a year that would challenge even the strongest person. Only weeks before their meeting, Buckingham Palace revealed that she'd been diagnosed with COVID-19. This meant that in the run-up to meeting with Justin, the Queen canceled more royal engagements amid health concerns
As well as keeping her sense of humor intact, the Queen's favorite chocolates were also spotted in the press shots—meaning it's likely that she's also keeping her regular order of sweet treats too!
