This possible Taylor Swift and Adele collaboration is going to inspire all of us

We're all for it—and not just for the catchy track

You might want to stock up on tissues: A Taylor Swift and Adele duet is reportedly in the works, and we have a feeling it'll conjure up all those horrific feelings you've experienced from your latest broken heart. All in the name of pop music, right?

According to the Society of European Stage Authors and Composers (SESAC), the two songstresses are both registered for a track titled "Broken Hearts," which is also listed as "Shattered Hearts." Pop's powerhouses have many a breakup track under their belts, and the two joining forces will simply be mind blowing. There's no word on when or where listeners can hear the tune, but considering Taylor just dropped a song with Big Red Machine titled "Renegade"—and considering she's know for back-to-back releases—we're not ruling this duet out of the realm of nearby possibilities.

The shoutouts. The Easter eggs. The teases. The vocal range. Can you only imagine?! We are getting emotional merely thinking about this song that might or might not even exist.

Of course we're all for a catchy song, but we're not one to shy away from a good cry. According to a Harvard Medical School publication, there are actually benefits to shedding a few tears. In fact, it's even healthy! Emotional tears will flush out stress hormones and other toxins, which will in turn ease both physical and emotional pain. If we're going to have Mascara streaming down our face, it might as well be thanks to Taylor and Adele.

And, when those feelings of sadness begin to fade, we'll help guide you through everything you need to know about the romance world, whether it's writing a dating profile or shelling out tips for first dates. But in the meantime, we'll just be sitting here patiently waiting for the confirmation of our new favorite breakup song, "Broken Hearts"/"Shattered Hearts."
