M&S launch Hogmanay spread with neeps and tatties pizza
M&S launch New Years Eve special Hogmanay range with 'neeps and tatties' pizza
M&S has launched a special Hogmanay range - complete with neeps and tatties topped pizza.
The supermarket chain has launched the dish as a alternative New Years Eve take on the classic pizza recipe or takeaway meal, giving shoppers a chance to go all out without having to slave over a cooker or food processor for hours on end.
It comes after M&S launched a special continental cheese selection to take the hassle out of putting together a Christmas platter.
But this time it's not just the pizza which has been given a twist - the traditional Scottish Hogmanay dish features creamy bechamel sauce, mozzarella and crumbled haggis - finished with roast potato and swede.

The hand-stretched pizza dough has been proofed for 65 minutes before being topped with oil and dusted in semolina to create a lovely golden colour.
The base is baked on Italian volcanic lava stones in a brick kiln oven - talk about going the extra mile to bring stay-at-home revellers a classic Scottish meal that's quick and easy to prepare.

This pizza costs £4.25 each or you can purchase it as part of a £10 meal deal, which includes two pizzas and two sides.
While some shoppers might be keen to give Haggis pizza a taste, some should try before they dismiss it completely after one commented, "Haggis pizza is yummy, not sure about adding neeps n tattie though."
If you don't try it you will never know right? And you just might surprise yourself...
