Tu Clothing at Sainsbury's launch the new #TuWorkIt campaign and these are our favourite pieces

Tu Clothing

Supermarket brand, Tu at Sainsbury’s have just launched their new winter campaign #TuWorkIt, celebrating women who are doing just that – working it.

The #TuWorkIt campaign features a cast of 14 different real women from all walks of life, backgrounds and abilities who have smashed through the glass ceiling in their careers. Not in stuffy boardroom suits, but it whatever they feel comfortable to wear.

From corporate outfits to casual items and everything in between, there is something for everyone in the new TU clothing collection.

As part of the campaign, Tu clothing partnered with both Anna Whitehouse (pictured below in the denim jumpsuit) of Mother Pukka - who is actively driving change for flexible working hours for all, and Sabrina Mahfouz (pictured in the brown checked suit), author, editor and poet – who created an upbeat spoken word piece for the TV video campaign.

MORE: Our favourite pieces from Sainsbury's stylish Tu clothing range

When we throw out the old work wear rules we can’t be told to wear a power suit to be empowered.

We all like sharp lines sometimes but what we like even more is the line ‘this look is a bit of me, it’s mine’.

It’s all about what we need to put on to push on, to break barriers down, to be a mother, a boss, every single one of us going above and beyond to fill our lives with what we love, to work it.

So go on, put it on.

Sainsbury’s have told us they are expecting the yellow check Crombie coat, £45 (pictured above), which is one of the hero pieces in the collection to sell out completely!

The first online release last week sold out in most sizes but good news, the coat has just been restocked so snap this one up quickly! Click here to buy it now for £45.

Our predicted sell out – when it lands online on October 2nd is the blue denim jumpsuit. The Woman & Home fashion team are huge fans jumpsuits, they are so easy to wear and look great on most body shapes. This versatile denim one will be a great addition to any wardrobe.

Head of design at Tu - Anna Clarke also who features in the #TuWorkIt campaign (pictured above) talked us through her favourite piece in the collection.

“Animal prints are timeless, we’re expecting this skirt to be a real favourite with our customers. The slip skirt has really been on trend this year, the length, style and shape are flattering for all figures – it’s the ideal go-to option to shake up your work wardrobe”, she said.
