Sick of falling in love with something in the changing rooms only for it to be that little too small in one size and frustratingly baggy in the next?
Thankfully, high-street hero Next have a solution. And we reckon it's going to prove very popular with customers.
Instead of just stocking sizes from 8 up to 18, they will now be introducing sizes 11, 13, 15 and 17. It means that if you find yourself struggling with a size 10 and 12, an 11 or a 13 could be the ultimate solution!
And the brand have revealed that there are plans to roll out even more sizes in the future in order to cater for everyone.
The move comes after feedback from customers who felt discouraged that they couldn’t always find a good fit in standard sizing. The first items to try out this inclusive new sizing system will be denim, tailoring and swimwear – but hopefully if successful, you’ll be able to pick up everything from dresses to skirts in a new in-between size.
A spokesperson for the brand explained, ‘Next are always looking for ways to help women feel amazing in what they wear.’
Whilst we will have to wait until the end of April or start of May to get our hands on the new sizes, it’s not just Next’s own brand clothing that you can pick up on their website.
Holly Willoughby sent fans into a frenzy this week as she stepped out in a Warehouse dress, only to realise it had completely sold out on their website after going into the sale.
Priced at a very reasonable £49, the adorable horseshoe printed shirt dress is still available to buy at Next.co.uk in nearly all sizes.
Fans took to Instagram in their droves to show appreciation for Holly’s ladylike look with one commenting, ‘Love this dress; the sleeves, the collar, everything about it!’ Whilst another added, ‘so happy that’s two dresses you have that I have now! Can’t beat Warehouse!’
If it’s good enough for Holly, it’s good enough for us!

She caught the magazine bug during a stint as Fashion Editor of her university newspaper alongside her English degree, and hasn’t looked back since. As for the fashion bug, that came as part and parcel of growing up in the 90s, but the less said about that the better!
Jess’ average day in the office is spent researching the latest fashion trends, chatting to industry tastemakers and scouring the internet to bring you this season’s must-buy pieces - as well as advice on how to wear them. Weekends are equally fashion-focused, and Jess has been known to visit no less than five Zara stores in a single day in search of the perfect occasion dress.
The only thing that comes close to a buzz of finally tracking down that much-coveted dress is the joy of discovering a new beauty wonder product or hero ingredient. A beauty obsessive, Jess has tried everything from cryotherapy to chemical peels (minus the Samantha in Sex and The City-worthy redness) and interviewed experts including Jo Malone and Trinny Woodall.
