The whole country might be isolating at the moment but there are some workers who can still head out to their jobs.

And The One Show host Alex Jones definitely isn’t taking for granted being able to escape the house and wear something other than leggings and a jumper as she heads out to her day job.

The BBC presenter always brings her fabulous style to the screen as she presents the daily evening talk show – and yesterday was no different.

On what was widely regarded as the first day of spring after the clocks jumped forward one hour on Sunday, meaning longer days and lighter evenings, Alex made sure to get into the spring and summer spirit with her stylish outfit.

The popular host teamed a stylish pair of raw cropped blue straight leg jeans from Oasis with a pair of glam leopard prints boots with gold buckles from high-street favourite Boden.

However, it was the star’s shirt that stole the show.

Alex wore a gorgeous white embroidered blouse from Spanish brand Mango to give a lovely relaxed summery spring feel to the outfit.

Unfortunately, the springtime blouse was so popular with shoppers that it has already sold out.

However, clever Mango have a few other options that are similar enough to get us all through the summer months – even if it just for a back garden date.

Alex recently revealed how, due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, she is unable to work with her usual beauty teams.

"We can't have any makeup artists anymore and it breaks my heart because after nearly a decade, our team of girls are very close friends and this is a game-changer for them financially,” she revealed on her Instagram story.

Admitting that she is “terrible at doing makeup,” Alex added, “we'll be reunited soon and my face will be so grateful!"
