Princess Eugenie shares adorable throwback photo with sister Beatrice days before royal wedding

With only a week to go before her big day, Princess Eugenie has already made fans emotional with a throwback photo of her and her sister Beatrice.

The bride-to-be took to social media on Friday to share a cute picture of her and Beatrice as bridesmaids at the wedding of their former nanny, Alison Wardley, to royal bodyguard Ben Dady in 1993. Alison was the sister’s nanny from 1988, when Beatrice was born, until 1993 when she married Ben in Withington, Manchester.

In the adorable photo, Eugenie, then three, smiles up at her older sister Beatrice, then five, as they wear lace white gowns and floral wreaths.

Unsurprisingly, the image, which Eugenie captioned, ‘#tbt sisterly love’, has already amassed over 20,000 likes, with fans gushing over how sweet the young royals look in their bridesmaids attire.

Could this be a taste of things to come for the royal wedding next week? The sisters are famously close and with Beatrice set to play the big role of maid-of-honour at Eugenie’s wedding, we anticipate the sisters will share many more emotional moments next week.

Eugenie will tie the knot with her long-term partner Jack Brooksbank at Windsor Castle on Friday 12 October.

The list of bridemaids and pageboys is yet to be announced, but there have been rumours that Prince George and Princess Charlotte may be in the line-up.
